Lol, yeah, make a 'profit' on the prophet...all I know is Mary wasn't a virgin, that I am sure of...Jesus was a heck of a good dude and orator, and got killed for it, though I do believe he survived (hence the 'resurrection') and lived a long life with Mary Magdelene, fathering children with her...good to be aware of a somewhat equalizing force out there, somewhat like gravity or 'karma'...but there sure as heck aint no puppeteer out there I just want to say that if I ever make the typo that Cole did, calling a "prophet" a "profit", any Jew jokes e.g. Jews worshiping "profit" are fair game. Nobody is going there young man...to paraphrase, 'only a hippie can call a hippie a hippie'...

Guard Giannis like we guarded Durant. Make him work really, really hard for everything. I think he will still be awesome, but he needs to be double teamed whenever possible Grant did an amazing job on Durant despite giving up length. And initially I was concerned that Giannis' length would give him trouble. But I just checked and Durant has a listed 7'5 wingspan to Giannis 7'3. So Im no longer concerned about it. As Dee pointed out mid-season, and I think its an excellent point. Tatum is an elite defender, and also handled Durant spectacularly. However, the difference in play styles (Giannis attacks more, whereas Durant snipes from mid-range) could lead to some foul trouble, which we absolutely CANNOT have. So Im wondering if we should use a combination of Grant, Horford, and Tatum on Giannis. But try to limit the amount of time its Tatum. We just cannot have the best player in the NBA getting in foul trouble. This is definitely my biggest concern...I just can't stand that Giannis gets away with his bully ball, the NBA's replacement 'star' in the east for Lebron who moved west...
Sunday 1:00 eastern...10:00 breakfast out here with the C's!...

You don't have to be super long to guard giannis as shooting over you isn't his forte. You just need someone strong and quick enough to keep him away from the basket. If Semi can do it, Gwill can. Acutally semi was probably more athletic than gwill.
If GF does get lucky and hit a couple threes, don't panic. Make him keep shooting them.

A Mezuzah is affixed to the doorpost of Jewish homes to fulfill the mitzvah (Biblical commandment) to "write the words of God on the gates and doorposts of your house”. It is to protect your house too.
As I send this joke please know my wife of over 50 years is Jewish. I go to the Synagogue with her & she to Mass with me. We both believe in One Superior Being and the different religions are for people to believe in the Superior Being as they wish or if they believe the one they believe in is the true Superior Being.
A Mezuzah? A mezuzah man who has finally made it in business treats himself to a new Lamborghini! After buying it, he feels guilty so he goes to the Orthodox Rabbi and asks for a mezuzah for the Lamborghini. "You want a mezuzah for what?" the Rabbi asks. "It's a Lamborghini," "What's a Lamborghini?" asks the Rabbi. "A sports car." "What? That's blasphemy!" the Rabbi shouts. "You want a mezuzah for a sports car? Go to the conservatives!" Well, the man is disappointed, but goes to the conservative Rabbi and asks for a mezuzah. "You want a mezuzah for what?" the Rabbi asks. "For my Lamborghini", the man replies. "What's a Lamborghini?" asks the Rabbi. "A car, a sports car." "What kind of sports car?" asks the Rabbi. "Italian." "What? That is blasphemy!" the Rabbi shouts. You want a mezuzah for a Goyishe car? Go to the Reform!" Again, the man feels guilty and disappointed, but goes to the Reform Rabbi. "Rabbi," he asks, "I'd like a mezuzah for my Lamborghini." "You have a Lamborghini?" asks the Rabbi. "You know what it is?" says the man. "Of course! It's a fantastic Italian sports car. What's a mezuzah?"

Graduating 8th grade, I’m on the right, from St. Domenics in Portland...Sisters of Mercy were the teachers. Then went to Cheverus High School...Society of Jesus Jesuits. The sisters would toss an eraser at your head if your were talking and then they would take a ruler to your knuckles. Couldn’t complain to your parents because they approved of the discipline. Sad...a visit to Portland showed St. Domenics church and school closed...not enough financial support. I always hoped I wouldn’t get struck by lightening. I was an Altar boy and assisted the Priest with Mass in Latin. But used to snitch some Sherry wine but it is not considered the Blood of Christ until it was blessed. A priest asked if I got the “Calling”...to be a priest. I got the calling for the draft instead. ![](//storage.proboards.com/6508959/thumbnailer/iUteMBTdmmdvcahtSgSE.png)

I’m sure the Jews know this. In Israel we went to the Wall to put a message in a crevice & it is believed it will be read by GOD. But a bit of discrimination as going the men & women are separated. OK, being commercial as a Goyim, non Jew, I did not have a Yamaka & needed my head covered so bought a paper one for $1.00. But, I remember in Italy going up Mt. Vesuvius I needed rent a wooden stick(cane) for 1 Dollar.
Went to services at the Synagogue in Rome. Tremendous search before entering and I was given a Yamaka but sat downstairs with the men but my Jewish wife upstairs with the women. At Conservative or Reformed synagogues we are not separated but this was an Orthodox one and they believe men & women should not mingle during the service.

With Embiid most likely out for the playoffs, it would really suck if Miami returns to the Finals.
Celtics should stop the Heat!

I refuse to worry about the Heat or Sixers until we take care of the Deer. They are the champs and will be very formidable to overcome. No sense talking about the next round until this one is over.

Doc stupid!!! Up 3-2 they win 132-97 by 35 and they are up by over 30 with 4 minutes to go and Embed still in there. Monday morning QB I know but why risk an injury which did happen. He had 33 pts, 11 rebs & 15 assists. Did he need increase his stats? Again, stupid leaving him in MON moving QB or not! And I won’t have been worried about Embiid had they beaten Miami because I believe Giannis is better than Embiid so beating them is of more concern than Embiid even if miraculously he returns.

I wasn't in wichita. Poor Andover though. The tornadoes always go around the airstrips on the south side and funnel right to them.

Smart's comments about the Bucks dodging the Nets on the final day of the season... and losing HCA:
********
From WaPo today: The Milwaukee Bucks are the defending NBA champions but the Boston Celtics are healthier, more rested and have home-court advantage heading into Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series on Sunday.
This series appears to be about as even as it could be, with both teams posting the same record in the regular season (51-31). The Celtics and Bucks each won at home to split their four-game season series.
The Bucks fell from the No. 2 to No. 3 seed and lost home-court advantage in this series on the last day of the regular season. Milwaukee elected to rest its starters in a setback to Cleveland, while Boston ascended in the standings by beating Memphis in the finale.
"They have every right to do what they please," Celtics guard Marcus Smart said. "If that means that they thought by (resting starters), they didn't need home-court against us or weren't too worried about us, that's fine. We'll go out and we will play our game and let our game do the talking and see where it leads us."
