hire an agent!! Never think with your heart when it comes to money! You will never convince me the guy didn't screw us over............it's pointless Regarding loyalty(Hayward leaving) in respect to money let me quote something many only believe in regarding money and someone who says it not a question of money. When it’s a question of money, ask the question again.

That's because I'm in a different time zone and my work does not require me to work 8 hours a day. Like I said, if you keep acting like you have sh!t for brains, people will treat you like you have sh!t for brains. Ya hiring.? Need work for myself and a friend.. Solly and I are tried of the second shift at the factory. We work side by side on those old machines.. We come as a team of course... Two fur one.

My problem with Kemba is not that he is smallish.... not that he is making a ton of money.... not that he has been prone to injury over the past two season.
My problem is that when the game is on the line, I'm not completely comfortable with the ball in his hands.
He got flat out stripped with 19 ticks on the clock against the Spurs and the Cs down 2 and that was the ball game IMHO.... and I was not surprised when it happened, nor was Kemba.
When he first arrived, I could rationalize that, when KW all too often missed big shots with the game on the line, he simply had to learn how to win and that this would come with the experience of playing with a successful franchise at the highest level year in and year out.
Now I'm not so sure. He has a wonderful, photogenic smile and one hell of a story line for sure but he still needs to show me that he is a max player when the big moment arrives.
I hate that I feel embarrassed for him at times like what happened against the Spurs... but I did.... and I do.
And I still want a happy ending for KW as a Celtic more than anything.

The dig from Cha on Walker.
He's got a lot of miles and hasn't spelled '' clutch'' sence he's been here.
Getting Rozier for over 10 mil less was a no brainer. Taking Hayward for nothing was the second one.
Cha is one decent big away from being a good team finally Jordan's team has some potential..

I agree on the part where Kemba has not proven he's a clutch player.
What Kemba should do right now is accept the fact that he's the 3rd option.
This is the team of Jayson and Jaylen.
If Kemba can be that 3rd scorer that the Celts need then he's a keeper.
But if Kemba being a liability on defense outweighs what he brings on offense, I think Ainge should trade him at the trade deadline.

He can still get 28 to 30 minutes. That's not going to happen. Two reasons. Were not getting much offense from the 4 AND 5 . We don't have a PG or another 2 guard that can score.. Just guessin.. Ainge might would take a do over on Walker now that he sees the problems. Walker doesn't fit very well with Brown or Tatum.. All three need the ball in their hands.

KY stated this about Hayward - "maybe he was thinking, that what happened to IT, could happen to him!!"
Basically the argument is that Hayward was not offered an extension by Ainge, so if you were Hayward would you opt in and play for $30 million or sign a four year contract worth for $120 million?...
Look what happened to IT...injured, and out of the game, and out of the big money...
Hayward is not a traitor like Damon going to the hated Yankees...Hayward made the best decision for himself and his family...plus he gets the ball a hecka more without having to deal with Kemba, who is really a shooting guard and not very good at distributing the ball...
I just think you have to get over blaming Hayward for leaving, blame Ainge not Hayward...yeah, I was shocked too that Ainge did not extend Hayward, especially with his friendship with Coach BS...I had figured all along that Hayward would opt out and than a multiyear team friendly deal would be announced, but evidently Ainge did not want to...
Good point but I think there's more to it than $.
Hayward knew that had he resigned here (sans a no trade contract) that Danny would most likely trade him.
Gordon wanted to be in control of his next contract and playing here under a 1 yr option or a new deal meant he could end up somewhere he didn't want to be.
We all know his 1st choice was Indy but some forget that he almost signed with the Hornets a few years ago as a FA. Whether an offer was on the table from Jordan or not while Indy and C's were negotiating is irrelevant. Gordon wanted the C's to work it out with Indy and when Indy told Gordon that Boston wanted too much he may have contacted Jordan himself as a 2nd option.
Sure it's all speculation but connect the dots and it's easy to see what happened here ...
Personally, I think Gordon knew a 1yr option meant he'd be traded for certain and he wasn't signing here long term with the focus shifting to JB & JT. That would only mean being traded this year or next ...
So I don't blame him for finding another option (Hornets) when Indy tells him it isn't gonna happen. Who would (except for Hedley). I think Jordan sweetened the pot to insure that Gordon took his offer before anyone else caught wind that C's-Indy was off the table and NY or others got into the picture.
I say congrats to him that he got a destination he's happy with and I hope he has success there and has a better career there than he did here by no fault of his own.
Danny's the one I blame ...

Just one side of the blame. Made two mistakes on Hayward.. Regardless of how you value Turner his per is 19 TTs is 11. Granted there is more than per but it sure as hell counts for something. If Turner wouldn't have fit he's tradeable alot more easier than TT.. Were stuck with TT is my guess.. Besides TT wasn't Ainge's first choice.. He only picked him up when the pickins got slim. My new handle for TT is.

Are we needing funds again to avoid the ads and such (something about being able to cut and paste content from other sites)?...also, wondering about getting Dr boogie better access to the games...he is our chief in game content writer after all...

Khloé Kardashian Tells Tristan Thompson In New ‘KUWTK’ Trailer She Wants Another Baby They scored 54 points in the paint and shot 38-54 from 2. Id say the plan of funneling to TT failed miserably. Or just that he provides no resistance at the rim, which is the case

No but we are pleased to accumulate them whenever someone has the means & inclination to add to the pot. Right now we are good thru November due to nice contributions from some of our regular posters ... you know who you are so I won't breach anyone else's privacy.
As far as Doc goes ... that would be between him and whoever has the means or opportunity to set him up if he's unable to find something on his own. I believe members have access to each other's email and if not can certainly send them a Private Message if you have a good idea or want to help him defray any expense to gaining better access. I will not push or constrict what members agree to upon their own. I only exist to keep this place running as closely as possible to the wants/needs of it's members.

Looks like they're trying to put a defense in place where Tacko can get some minutes.

Speaking of great defense, anybody see the OU win over number 9 Alabama? OU was missing their best scorer and another regular rotation guy who averaged 6 assists but they made up with great defense. Specifically, a couple of their guards did the best job of staying in front of the ball that I've seen maybe ever. They showed how the win with strength if you're not the more skilled team

Let me give you a scenario: Say for some reason you need to get rid of your 2021 Corvette are you going to get rid of it for a 2003 trailblazer?
Say that's the best offer you've gotten for your Corvette for whatever reason.
The Corvette's not wrecked you just have to get rid of it.
Would you do that deal?
Similarly I think there were no good offers for Gordon Hayward worth taking therefore he was not traded when we were unable to re-sign him to a long-term deal.

I mean any GM that doesn't realize a guy who isn't resigned is a flight risk is not worth his salt.
