... it’s hard to see Sullinger coming back if he gets a decent offer sheet elsewhere and the Celts can sign a free agent such as Horford or Ian Mahinmi (Timofey Mozgov went off the market quickly to the Lakers). And it looks like Tyler Zeller is attracting offers and will move on. One player the Celtics are saying goodbye to is Evan Turner, who's joining Portland on a reported four-year, $75 million deal.
... with several teams interested in him, he was poised to get an offer that priced him out of how the C’s are trying to position themselves in this next phase of rebuilding.
And there are still other free agents, beyond those most prominently mentioned, that the Celtics will be speaking with (Luol Deng among them). www.bostonherald.com/sports/celtics/2016/07/bulpett_celtics_interest_in_al_horford_not_dependent_on_kevin_durant

DA should not have QO'd Sully and Zeller (both are sure to sign bigger deals elsewhere) and used their $ for a team-friendly deal with Turner before he went to the west coast.
That said, if we end up with Gibson or Deng at $10mm or so, I'll be good with that.
PS: 4yrs/$38mm to Delladenova from the Bucks

If the C's get Horford and can't land Durant this season then DA might bite the bullet and pursue the trade with Bulls for Butler ... With Horford in tow, it would behove DA to open his wallet wide to work out the Butler deal even at a premium as that might cement KD next season when Amir & Jerebko will provide additional cap space. Just a question of which picks and prospects will it take ... we could lose Brown & 2017 1st from BRK in that case and more.

ATL, OKC and Boston were considered the most likely destinations for Horford, with only Boston willing to go max. If it's a money deal it's Boston, a no brainer and Horford as bait for 2017.

Milwaukee C Miles Plumlee one of the top RFA bigs. Several teams looking to create room to make offers for 27-year-old.

Among top remaining RFAs if Miami wants to take an offer sheet flier: Waiters, Crabbe, Harkless, Leonard, Sullinger, Tyler Zeller...

Heat, unsurprisingly, reached out to Tyler Johnson camp tonight. Imagine it will offer more cap-friendly version of deal Johnson has w/Nets.
