I always thought Mathews and bledsoe were the same player in disguise...guess not. So what do we think happened? Did Milwaukee just panic? Did they run out of gas because we've been playing so deep? Not just tonight but every night guys are getting very balanced minutes. I'm anxious to watch now that I finally made all my rackets Celts are simply better. I don't know in the playoffs, but in this game, Celts were simply better. The Celts have multiple players who can score. This season the Celts are more active because Horford's gone. Last season the Celts struggled in the rebounding department and a lot of that was because of Horford's underwhelming rebounding effort.

Celtic bigs like Theis, RWill, and GWill are very active and relentless in pursuing the ball.
That's the big difference from last season to this season.

More bad news for Steph Curry and GSW.
He has a broken hand.

I'm out guys. Awesome prideful win. Night all. Nice job with the play by play. I watched the whole game, but I still enjoyed reading your posts...Thinking: "And here comes the turning point"

Great game, we need to tighten up the 3 ball defense. A lot of late rotations, giving good shooters open looks. We had to know they would do that because its their MO. Great heart displayed by Smart and Kemba. These charges are a little scary but Ill knock on wood. Tatum is clutch. You can tell by his face and demeanor. Ice in his veins.

Marcus Smart is an animal...nice to see the refs call a few on Giannis...unbeleivable turnaround in the second half...and without Brown...

Potential is such a wonderful thing. Can you imagine the potential of THIS TEAM if they played a full 48 minutes like they did the final 24 last night?
Imagine if they committed to moving the ball around and trusting each other how good this team could be.

I expected the Celts to be better after 20 games. But right now it's looking like the Celts are growing at a faster rate.

Giannis was frustrated because we were physical with him. I think Semi kept his roster spot because of last night. They will never win if Giannis can't shoot better from the FT line. Teams will just foul him!

So, if Stevens makes NO adjustments year after year, and he's such a bad coach in the first half, I'm very curious to know what happened in the second half..........other than we made the SAME shots we took in the first half? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

"Stevens is a college coach"
Ah, Bud runs the exact same offense, he just has Giannis

Well, we made him prove he could shoot last playoffs, and he did. He even hit some big 3's. But after the first game there was very little pressure.

Honestly, in just 4 games, you can see the change in how this team plays with Kemba at PG as opposed to KI at the PG. So many other players are involved. We had 3 players with 6 or more assists last night AND, had we hit more of our first half shots, that number would have been significantly more.

Honestly I'm not even sure I would call Kemba a PG on this team. It seems like he usually receives the ball at the end of the action. Trying to get him the ball in his spot with the d scrambling. I see him taking the ball up, then immediately passing and taking a big curl while Hayward works his way toward the basket and makes the actual decisions.

Our bench is concerning to me. Wanamaker was garbage tonight. When Semi is your leading bench scorer, you didn't have a very good bench. I believe our bench scored 8 points! Also we had some guys missing tonight! W anamaker needs to go!

Cole, I hear you but when our offense is really flowing, Kemba brings the ball up and waits for a screen and then initiates the offense by getting into the paint or pulling up for the perimeter shot. Funny thing..........that is exactly what Hayward does too. But Kemba doesn't feel the need to be ball-dominant. He's fine with the offense being initiated by Smart or Hayward. Kyrie never yielded that to anyone.

KI was a superstar player with a superstar ego. Kemba is a superstar player w/o the superstar ego. Huge difference. Kemba fits in a whole lot better, no doubt humbled by his long, long winters in Charlotte. Hence, the chemistry developed over the past few years as the Cs have rebuilt beginning with the drafting of Marcus Smart (minus the two lost years of KI) is allowed to coalesce and flourish. KW could easily become the icing on the cake.... rather than the cake itself. We have the talent already.
What we need is leadership and commitment from players and coaches alike....
...and a bit of leprechaun luck.
Lets see where these guys to a man can take us. Any talk of trading current Celtic "garbage" (fiercy's term) for the next shiny object to come along.... IS "garbage". Pud
