Problem with this loss is rather than being able to close out this series early 4-1 in Boston we probably go 7 games now and get to see Smart in the 7th. i read he might play for game 6

Problem with this loss is rather than being able to close out this series early 4-1 in Boston we probably go 7 games now and get to see Smart in the 7th. it was predestined, as is the okc game, to go 7. this needs to be a big freak marketing campaign whether they win or lose. I wouldn't be shocked to see them get the calls in boston 7. Milwaukee needs something good to happen and to the nba we are fat cats with plenty of ability to sell tickets next year with a championship team. And this is fantastic experience for the J's. Did we ever get a look at that brown "strip?"

Yeah, they NBA doesn't eat their own especially those players that draw the viewer to the tube.

Smart might erase Maker's mark. It will be great to have his edge & hustle around. The C's fought and had their chance.

Brad's Presser: Most team's hold the ball with 45 secs left but he wanted team to attack and stay aggressive on the Brown to hoop disruption On the last play: good coach

We have to play better early in games. We get so far behind that it takes too much out of us to finish after making a comeback. We scored 17 points in the first quarter and 18 in the second. We have to come out aggressive, especially on the road. We have to give maximum effort for a full forty eight minutes, everybody.
We also have to be strong with the ball at the rim. There is no way we should get 27 shots blocked in two games, many of which are soft forays to the bucket. Tatum has to be stronger going to the rim. We cannot be afraid of contact.
And I'm back to needing more from Horford. We need more than 8 shots in 37 minutes. In the first half, how many times was he being guarded by Brogdan and Bledsoe and he passed out of the post up? That should not happen.
And, again, Rozier. The two late 3-pointers don't make up for a pathetic offensive performance.
In order to win this series, we have to play much, much better and with more consistency.

and yes, this is good experience for the J's...to play in the playoffs, to deal with the World Wrestling Federation referees...

Did we ever get a look at that brown "strip?" I did. I was watching the recording. Was able to backup. It was a hit to the forearm just as Brown was gathering the ball. That is why the ball went up and sideways. Clear foul but the ref may not have had good view.

Yeah, but some shots you should call based on position. I don't think you could get to the ball from there without crossing the arm.
Just like when people reach around and pop the elbow from behind. You know they can't actually reach the ball from where they are. But it gives the refs an opportunity to help.

The bummer is that the Bucks got a transition 3 out of it. That was a killer missed call at that stage of the game.

We are no match for this team. We just don't have the mix of talent and experience to match them. This is playoff basketball but it looks like we're still playing like it's a regular season game in February. you gave up too quick on these guys. They surely put on a fight.

You don't think it's ridiculous to consider trading away Kyrie because we have Rozier? I don't think a frantic comeback after being down by 25 should give anyone reason to believe anything otherwise. And Rozier had an overall mediocre game, his second in a row. He's a capable backup right now and will eventually develop into a very fine NBA PG but that time aint now.

Did we come back and win? Even with the game on the line, we made questionable mistakes by the young guys, defensive lapses, and the vet could not finish the dunk for the "and one". Making a frantic comeback after being down by as many as we were down can only be described as a "moral victory". Not much more. We have to play 48 minutes, not 24, for a real victory. I really believe the only way this Celtics team beats the Bucks is if they play up to their abilities for 48 minutes.
