I'm okay with it. The 2018 pick might be a lottery pick. The 2017 pick will be top 5 or better, probably better. Don't trade that pick unless they get a star on a LT deal. That pick could be a star.
I don't mind trading some of the good depth players for a legit NBA starter who fits them to a Tee. Noel fits them perfectly and would very likely extend. I'd trade much less for Okafor, but he could help too.

Here's the thing,Smart does what Bradley does on D. Green does what Bradley does on O. Horford does what Olynyk does and more. Noel or Okafor can replace any potential that Mickey has. The 2018 pick is the BIG give away we can't replace.

I forgot we resigned ZELLER! I would rather the trade be Zeller, Olynyk, Rozier, Mickey and NO 2018 pick! That would give us: Starters- Thomas,Bradley,Crowder,Horford,Noel. Bench-Smart,Green,Brown,Jerebko,Okafor.

You know very well the 76ers will laugh at this.

Maybe, but I think Philly and the C's could be able work out what manner of depth they want to go with the 2018 pick.

It wont't be Mickey or Oly the 76ers have much better front line players. No pressure on Phila they can wait and see how healthy Embiid is. No way they trade both Noel and Okafor this year. Ainge missed his opportunity thinking that a bunch of bench players are worth two good young starters.

While I agree that this trade would probably be rejected by PHI, I never thought DA was after both of these guys. I always assumed it was one or the other. PHI will wait because of Embiid, but I don't think Danny has blown any opportunity yet. I will change my mind if one of them goes to another team for less than we could have offered. I don't want both anyway. One or the other would be fine. I'd prefer Noel...............but would applaud getting either one.

Fair enough Hedley. They obviously wanted Dunn with the 3rd pick. If Brown turns out to be not as good as Okafor or Noel that might be a more defining missed opportunity. Don't get me wrong i lke Brown but he is still unproven. Both Okafor and Noel have shown they have a lot of potential. Your right if Phila doesn't like the way they play together why would we. Noel is my favorite especialy with Horford can't see Okafor and Horford a fit on the otherhand. Nothing is likely Phila is just really starting their rebuilding and have all the time in the world. They will draw a good crowd nite after nite to watch Simmons Saric Noel Okafor and Embriid. I wich we had 5 quality bigs with this much upside. Tankers might be lowlifes but they arn't idiots as some seem to think.

In my view, with the BKN picks, we have the best of both worlds. WE can get better, while THEY tank!

I think Philly still wants high lottery picks. They are on the verge of being an 8th seed if they keep Okafor and Noel, which will kill their rebuild. Catapulting them into no man's land of the middle. Not low enough to rebuild and not strong enough to contend. So I could see how they might want to take a step back to spring forward in a few more drafts. Downgrading to Zeller and Olynyk and upgrading their own pick in the process and adding Brooklyn 2018 would be the way to go. Plus they need an outside shooting center like Kelly to open the paint for Simmons. If Embiid is or isnt ready they have Zeller and Olynyk for the center spot and they miss the playoffs like they probably want to do.

No one ever complains about us being in no mans land just the sixers tanking this is a rather bizaar proposal. The sixers have a payroll of 50 mil this year and 28 the next. They arn't going backwards and the tanking is over. They have lots more cap space then we do to sign good free agents . Your right about one thing. They are on the crisp of the playoffs and the year after more likely a team to fear. No one especially the 76ers want both Oly and Zeller. Embriid was cleared for workouts back in May and is reportably healthy..
No one called Heinke an idiot Hedley? Must have seen that somewhere else i suppose.

Plus, I expect bigger chemistry problems between Simmons and Okafor rather than Okafor and Noel. Simmons needs to get lay-ups...BADLY, to be effective or else lose his confidence and then turn into a bust!
Noel and especially Okafor will not take the Deandre Jordans of the world out of the paint for Simmons fragile rookie confidence. Olynyk and Zeller CAN with outside shooting being their strength.

Simmons despite the negative hype has a decent mid range jumper. He'll average in double figures rather easily. Simmons hasn't had fragil rookie confidence since grade school. He's by far the composed rookie this year. Wouldn't care to bet on the bust thing wouldya?
Matters little about Simmons if the 76ers wanted Oly and or Zeller the deal would have already been done.

Simmons, to me, punked out after Jaylen blocked his shot in summer league. He hurt is foot! (said mockingly)

Even if Emblid seems better, I can't imagine them trading both noel and okafor. That doesn't make sense, and would signal 2 years of tanking turned out to be worthless.

Sorry Hedley. My only point was the 76ers aren't as bad as folks let on under Heinke.

Sorry Hedley. My only point was the 76ers aren't as bad as folks let on under Heinke. Well, they won't be as bad in a few years. They will stink again this year. Now, I heard the reason the trade on draft night fell through was because DA asked for the lakers pick, as well as Okafor..............and they didn't want to give it up. Probably because they know they will stink again this year, while we should win 50+ games.
