If Brad would let me pick for him, I'm taking Justin Edwards from Kentucky with my first pick, and with the last pick I'm taking Chomche, on potential alone!! Kentucky guys tend to get better when they get away from coach Cal!
Larsson is better than Edwards ... Just saying.
Okay, I just read a player comparison on Edwards, it was James Young! I'm dropping Edwards and adding Tyler Smith! |

so tonight my c**ktail of choice is something I picked up the other week I figure one shot for every time one of the yahoo's on TV says " well they got a steal with that pick" Probably be passed out by 9:30 I'm guessing.  |

Knicks are hard capped at $179M now due to taking on more salary than sent out for Bridges. So as Dee said, they only have around $50M (actually $43M) to resign both OG & Hartenstein unless they add another $11Min salary to the trade. Only roster member that makes $11M is DiVincenzo who they surely won't part with. Robinson makes $14M and he's been shopped. They could add him to the trade but then Sims would be their only center.
Looks like OG will get almost all of that $43M once the contract is signed. Hartenstein looks to be gone unless other pieces are traded away - Robinson or even Randle. But other than Hart & Mitch the only center on their roster is Sims. And Randle's backup PF is Achiuwa who's a RFA. The NYK's have decisions to make!

The new CBA has created a number of new circumstances under which teams can be prevented from exceeding a certain threshold of total salary. Those two thresholds are the first and second apron, which we've projected in the table above.
When a team takes back more money than it sends out in a trade, it becomes hard-capped at the first apron. Bojan Bogdanovic makes less than Bridges next season, so if he is the only Knicks player in the deal, they would be hard-capped at that $178.7 million figure.

There is a Trade Thread where the Bridges/Bogdan & Picks trade was posted. If a trade is in conjunction with draft picks for tonight's draft it can stay here but if not then move it to the Trade Thread ... Thnx

I think for myself: im very hard to disappoint. When I talk about things like packaging a pick with springer for a vet , its cuz i wouldnt be unhappy. When I say get a stretch big if one falls like Filipowski, Holmes, Ware, the other one Im forgetting...Its cuz id be happy. If they trade down and collect more picks and get chompy chomche or dadiet or a guy like that , im happy. If they get wing depth and shooting depth for next season in Scheierman, sure. If they get ball handling depth in Kolek (not gonna fall) but also pick up a valuable trade chip in PP for drafting his replacement - i wouldnt be upset.
And its hard for me to think a scenario where Im unhappy. Short of trading anyone in our top 7 (Id be okay trading Pritchard)
