Now that Vrabel is on the table BB is toast in NE. Vrabel is who the Krafts want. He's a known quantity with experience and a decent level of success. That's where BB was when they hired him.
...IMO he brings some changes to the O, but familiarity on D. I'd expect Mayo is retained as DC. The D is okay, maybe good with Gonzales and Judon return. ....Vrabel's best O were with Arthur Smth who was just canned by Atl. Smith runs more of a Shanahan style O. I REALLY want them to follow the SF mold. A great team with an okay QB.
I expect they'll retain the better FAs Onwenu for RT, Usche and some like Henry & others BB would let walk. They'll actually draft on O to fill the LT spot (#34) and maybe Harrison or a QB (I prefer Harrison) #3. They'll sign quality FAs to bring in. BB brought in 2nd, 3rd tier guys on O. I think a quality WR. If they don't draft a QB high they'll bring in a vet caretaker like Minshew or Brisset (or Tannehill? JG? ) and draft a developmental QB. They'll be better, playoff contention, and they'll build the young core. ...I expect they'll add a 3rd down back.

Last night on the post game podcast, one of the hosts said he believes that vrabel has already been chosen. Vrabel knew before he made the exit deal with the titans and told them he was cool with leaving and where he was going. That was speculation, but it seems pretty plausable. He said you won't even hear of any other suitors or interviews

I bet it doesn't go much longer. Mayo and he played together in 2008 he'd be a good DC while he gains experience...But I want the OC and several others to be Vrables people so they bring in fresh blood. They need a GM..The guy I want is Adam Peters the 49ers Ast GM...Go with the 49er's system.

If that's the case and can be proven, then the Titans have a case for collusion vs Patriots!

They fired him in part because he appeared to be too close to the Pats during his Pats HoF induction, which they allowed him to attend. BUT..he and the GM Carthon that they forced on him were obviously at odds...They fired him. They could have held onto him to get value, but decided it wasn't worth it....Seems like collusion charges are in the rear view mirror.

What did he say to get himself fired?
Is it a case of him being alerted to the impending release of Bill so he intentionally gets himself fired?
Which came 1st?
Maybe Titans were conned into the firing ... always a possibility especially if relations there weren't good.

He said they wanted to fire vrabel and Vrabel said that's OK and didn't strike a hard bargain
