You can bet these TWolves are hungry to get into a playoff finals and even mortgaged their future to get there for Gobert. So far it hasn't worked out but the big K-A-T amongst these wolves has been out for months and due back in a few weeks. We shall see if their 2-Alpha's can lead their pack to the meal they have starved for. That said, if you ask Drew, I'll bet he's not calling Draftkings to place a wager on the TWolves anytime soon.
Unlike K-A-T, back in the day this cat saw lightning strike more than twice in the same place and was able to retire with savings and health insurance as a result. Almost as rare as his multiple lightning strikes, this dude even provided health benefits to all his regular musicians at a time when black musicians were lucky to get paid for session work let alone have any benefits from their employer. Now that's something to "Howl" about!
"Cry Wolf ... Time to worry!" Timmy & Mazz need to get this train back on the tracks and the last thing they want or need is another loss on this 6 game road trip having lost already to the self-imploding rockets, aka cellar dwellers of the NBA already. With a top tier western foe in Sacramento attempting to become their namesake waiting in the wings along with old friend Danny Ainge's design/built Jazz with a decidedly new tune being played in Utah bringing back some of that old black magic in deference to "Love Portion #9," the C's fans don't want to hear Mazz crying wolf again with his song & dance about better offense and tweaking some problem areas when the whole world can see this team plays no defense (see Smart's remarks re defense below). We've heard too much talk from Mazz, Tatum & Brown how they just need to make some adjustments in time for the playoffs. They were saying that before the ASG break and now we're down to a baker's dozen or so of games and it's the same ole story. Sorry Mazz ... we aren't buying it!!!

Why Celtics’ Marcus Smart says his defense has been ‘mediocre’ this season By Souichi Terada |
When Marcus Smart earned the Defensive Player of the Year award last season, it was a celebration while also being a symbol of how dominant the Celtics’ defense played down the stretch. Boston overwhelmed teams and Smart was at the center of it all, barking out instructions to lead the NBA’s best defense. But amid some defensive struggles for both the Celtics and Smart, the guard was critical of his play this season. The C’s are fourth in defensive rating over the whole season. But they’ve slipped to 15th in the 10 games since the All-Star break, where they’ve put up a 5-5 record. Smart also referenced the “system where there’s no advantage for you as a defender” as scoring is up across the league. Smart said there have been times where the offensive player bulldozes his way into him, yet he’s the one gets called for the foul. Smart detailed those specifics of how difficult it is to play defense currently. Smart said injuries have factored into why he called himself mediocre defensively this season. He missed 11 games right before the All-Star break after re-aggravating an old ankle injury form last playoffs. Smart has been back playing, but he re-tweaked the “nagging” ankle injury recently. He said it’s affected him when moving laterally and his explosiveness.

And that's why I said players like Smart are going the way of the Dinosaur! It's all about the offense!

The original expected return time for Rob was 7-10 days, and his injury occured 12 days ago.
Hooray! We got an update today: "Coach Joe Mazzulla said Wednesday that Williams (hamstring) could return in the next 5-7 days, Brian Robb of MassLive.com reports."
Jeesh - Those 12 days must really have passed like 2-3 days.

Cs playing better defense in this game.
This Celtics team is just like some of the Celtic fan base that are entitled.
Only want to play defense when they want to.
