Give it a couple of months.
Brogdon has a been a starter his whole career. He's still adjusting to the bench role in Boston.

Count me in with Cab...2-2... Haven't seen much of this Brogdon guy you are talking about, guess he is on vacation...seeing enough of Hauser that I know I want to see more... And 16 minutes is a third of the game, only a sixth away from a half... Just because you haven't seen the guy that doesn't mean the other guy is already better. Hauser has a career average of 4.5 points per game in 10.1 minutes per game. Brogdon has a career average of 15.4 ppg in 29.9 minutes a game. That alone tells you how superior of a player Brogdon is compared to Hauser. The numbers back that up because out of 16 games, Hauser has only scored in double figures 3 times. So how could a guy not even playing half of 48 minutes and always sits on the bench in crunch time makes a bigger difference than the 3rd leading scorer of the team? Hauser is just a reliever. Brogdon is top 3 or top 4 on this Celtics team. Well, seems to me that if Hauser was given as much minutes, he would score about the same as Brogdon...I've got twenty bucks that says Hauser would score more...I for one feel that Brogdon is extraneous...keep White and Pritchard... Can't remember White and Hauser missing games... Though whoever is wearing the green, I am rooting for!...

Here's something that is hard to quantify: How much has the threat of White & Brogdan forced Smart to play the best basketball of his career...to keep his job? White yes. Brogdon to me not so much. I can just think of a couple of good games to be honest. And I'm far from down on him. But white is taking the starting role right away Agree...

There are stats to determine what's actual and what's not. You just have to look them up. What you're not understanding is the Celts didn't trade for Brogdon to be great in the regular season. The Celts got Brogdon for the playoffs. Reason why Brogdon is missing more games than he should is because the Celts are being overly cautious with him. Every time he feels discomfort, Celts give him extended period of rest.

Looks like you lost 20 bucks. We will see how it plays out over the season...my guess is Brogdon will continue to play less, and Hauser more...
