It's assumed Brad is unwilling to trade any current contracts for a Center as he has said he wants to add without subtracting from the current core. That being the case, there are just two means to acquire a center ... using the vet minimum for an UFA or a trade involving a TPE and a future draft pick.
All the options I could find are listed for your choice other than PF's or centers that have been or would be of no use.
Leonard was left with nerve damage after ankle surgery but said he was in rehab and only needed a few months to be 100% ... that was in April so unless he underestimated his recovery, he should be ready for workouts.
Cauley-Stein hasn't been effective for a number of seasons now the latest being a personal situation. In any event, it seems his head is somewhere other than the basketball court so buyer beware!
Garza was released rather than picking up an option for less than $2mm. He could have been offered the QO and become a RFA but detroit opted to waive him instead. Apparently they have more than enough Bigs now after taking another in the draft. He was worthy at Iowa but is still wet behind the ears so you'd be depending on raw talent and athleticism to be your backup. GLWT!
Leonard, Zeller, WCS and Garza would be the riskiest of all those listed ... maybe Monroe too!

What about Fuzzy Zeller or Beer Stein? Just go with what they've got until they decide they need a real back up and trade a 3rd wheel PG.

It was a touch choice, but I chose WCS in the end over Zeller.
His game (if his head is right) fits as a BU for Rob as the FIFTH big on the roster.

they'd want two first for Poetl (based on the Gobert trade), plus Boston doesn't have a TPE for him to fit into anymore.
best to move on

I like a bench of Brodgan, White, Gallo, GWill and Kagengle
PP, Kornet, Hauser, Ryan and maybe Jackson would be a nice 15
Davison and Begarin for the 2 way.
Nice team

I cant believe there are some of us that think having 3 solid guards (Smart, White, Brog) is an excess (when Smart and Brog can both play wing) and should move one to bolster our frontcourt when we have
PF: Horford, Tatum (yes he will play some PF), Grant, Gallo, Kabengele C: RWill, HOrofrd (yes, he'll play some C), Grant, Kornet, Kabengele.
We moved to the vegas pick for champs when we bolstered our backcourt and playmaking, which was badly needed. You subtract from that and we immediately go from 1 -3 (getting passed by GS and the bucks). Then if Brog gets hurt , you fall even further.

I'm gonna revamp the Poll as I just realized that I didn't provide ant players under $8MM/yr that might be traded for with a TPE.
I'll post about 4 screenshots of Centers and pick a few options from those screens to add to the Poll.

Detroit has Noel, Stewart and just let Garza go in favor of draft pick Duren ... all centers They also have Olynyk, Bagley and another draft pick in Livers at PF. Stewart is the only Center we can afford (excluding the recent draft pick for obvious reasons) and I doubt they would trade him. Only option there might be Noel and we'd have to swap contracts to get something done. Vanderbilt now with the Jazz could work but he's not tradable until 9/4/22' and just 6'9" at the PF spot
Marjanovic is out ... he's the only backup HOU has for Sengun at center.

I took WCS over Zeller, but either one would be OK with me. nothing on those list are anything to get excited about. I'm kinda surprised anyone wants Howard at this point? why not see if KG wants to sit on the bench and try to get another ring instead!!! I mean if we're talking about old guys!
