I feel like pedophiles probably seek the position for the circumstances it provides. Probably tough for the church to screen. If you change the circumstances, you may attract less recruits with bad motives Or if you remove the celibacy requirement you may have more normal people available to fill those positions Doubtful and despite the bad publicity the Catholics get its fairy common across the board in many religions. Dee 1 Cole 0 don't ya get tired of running second? news.yahoo.com/southern-baptist-list-alleged-sex-035139152.html. Just one of many.. Hit's home huh? Do you all just ingore this ? FYI Mennonites are well know for this also.. We admit it sometimes.. edit...Not a attact on you a broad attact on organized religions Well I certainly don't claim to be an expert in this subject. Technically I'm not Southern Baptist. I'm independent. If that happened in our church someone's head would be on a pole

Sports radio is actually talking seriously about Irving coming back. I don't think head transplants are possible.

I doubt Stevens would bring him back for vet minimum to be honest, after the last time. he'll be back "riding with the king " soon enough I bet.

Can we please stick to basketball?
To each his own. Believe what you want. And, I'll tell you, I promise I will not judge what you believe, but please do not be cynical on things others take very seriously, and are a big part of their lives. This is supposed to be about the Celtics. If I want criticism on my faith, I'll go to a different cite. This is embarassing and insulting, and I want no part of it.
Meantime - Draymond is walking around with a Boston sucks tee-shirt.

Hope this isn't true:
One coaching candidate sure to interest Danny Ainge as he launches a search for Quin Snyder’s replacement is Brad Stevens … but it’s difficult in the extreme to see anyone luring Stevens back to coaching in the short term given how well Stevens’ team-building efforts are going in Boston as the Celtics’ rookie president of basketball operations. 1 day ago – via Marc Stein @ marcstein.substack.com Top Rumors, Brad Stevens, Coaching, Danny Ainge, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz

Apologies if this was already posted:
Assuming Boston keeps its eight highest-paid players, all of whom were regular parts of their playoff rotation, they are likely to be a luxury taxpayer next season. They are already heading into the offseason with $8.3 million over the luxury tax with 14 players under contract. That is before factoring in them signing the 53rd overall selection and using the mid-level exception to add a role player. That could push their projected luxury tax payment to the $20-25 million range. 4 days ago – via Yossi Gozlan @ HoopsHype Free Agency, Trade, Boston Celtics

I'm willin to meet in the middle but i'm standing all alone these days. Pretty. I like browne and I like his guitar/steel/violin player too. This one makes me think he listened to a lot of Paul Simon
Browne was one of if not the 1st musician/writer to make it out of the Laurel Canyon crowd. Everyone looked up to him. I doubt he was following what Paul Simon was up to those days. In fact "Desperado" was his song. He never finished it but use to jam along with others there. Glen Frye was there one night for a jam session with Henley, Browne & JD Souther and they discussed the concept album for the Eagles and even wrote "Doolin'Dalton" for the album. When the Eagles came up short for tunes they asked Browne if they could finish his "Desperado" tune and he gave it to them. Frey & Henley have always been credited with writing it but those in the know heard Jackson playing it long before the Eagles concept album was born. The song wasn't initially a major hit off the album until Ronstat came onstage and sang it with them one night.

I know Brown wrote take it easy then handed it off to Frey to complete.

Witchy Woman was another import ... Bernie Leadon was working on that while in The Flying Burrito Bros but joined the Eagles when they needed another guitarists. The song was finished with Henley.

This guy would be great, but probably too expensive:

As we expected:
Al Horford has surprisingly become an extremely valuable member of the Celtics after spending two years in the wilderness. It’s possible Boston looks to extend him on a team-friendly deal for a year or two, butlikely at a significantly lower salary. – via Yossi Gozlan @ HoopsHype Free Agency, Al Horford, Boston Celtics

One more for now, going to try to combine two into one. Let's see if I can do it!!

Horford Contract Notes:
2022 $14.5 million guaranteed, $19.5 million guaranteed if makes Finals in 2020, 2021 or 2022, fully if wins Finals (@bobbymarks, @jeffsiegel)
We made the Finals ($19.5mm) but didn't win it. Wyc said the C's would still pay Al his entire $26.5mm anyway.
A proposed extension could be $36mm for next season and two add'l which equates to $12mm/yr ... he'll be 38 as that contract ends and s/b valuable at that avg cost for the next 2-3 yrs anyway ... if not on the court in yr 3 then as a mentor.
22-23' $26.5mm 23-24' $5.5mm 24-25' $4mm

wow that's awful cheap , I can't see those numbers flying with Al. Would be insulting almost. Where did those numbers come from? I would think maybe half of his current salary (12-13M) per year would be good for both team and player.
