I thought that the minutes disbursement from coach was great. 25 mins for Rwill, 30 mins for Horford, 23.5 for white....Really good job by the coach. Not only the "how many" but also the "when", putting in Rob early to set a tone. Not just that example, either. Deploying Rob at strategic times and getting most impact out of his 25 mins. Loved the efficiency , 48% from the floor. Jaylen was a huge contributor in this regard. RWill too, putting himself in position to receive the lobs. Those are very high %, so help overall efficiency. Loved how we got back on Green by ignoring Green and getting physical w Curry. After thinking about it, I would say that Green's best asset is his ability to split your focus. If you are worried/thinking about Green at all, you are diverting your attention/focus away from Curry, Klay.... Green wants to get physical with us, get physical w Curry. They'll cry about it , sure, but maybe shouldnt have opened that can of worms in the first place. Love how Klay had the game that all the talking heads saw coming. He'll have a "Klay game". There it was, wasnt enough. Loved that we "played in traffic" less. We've hurt ourselves, especially game 6 in Boston vs Heat, playing in traffic. Trying to dribble around 3 defenders, and if miraculously you dont turn the ball over, all you get out of it is an off-balance shot. And thats if you dont turn the ball over. Thats hero ball at its worst, and Im glad we didnt do as much of it. Another great team win. Im giving Jaylen the MVP again for efficiency and defense.
If Brown continues his play and the C's win the Championship, guess who your MVP will be? Sorry Fierce and Drew but Jaylen will be taking home the trophy!
I hope so. Do you realize that you responded to my comment saying "Im giving Jaylen the MVP again" with "sorry....drew but jaylen will be taking home the trophy" lol

How do you tell which fans for which teams are being obscene or are disrupting things?
Dre brought this upon himself in game two with his over-the-top play and his double down bragging afterwards.
And the refs swallowed their whistles.... much to the home crowd's delight.... and Beantown's dismay.
Almost anything short of an AR-15 going off spraying the crowd I can live with.

The Third Quarter Warriors are legendary. But the Fourth Quarter Warriors are killing their title chances Steph Curry and the Warriors cannot match up with the Boston Celtics in half-court sets and that’s killing the Dubs in the fourth quarter.
(Karl Mondon/Bay Area News Group) By Dieter Kurtenbach |
BOSTON — The Warriors were cooking. After trailing by 18 points early, Golden State had pulled back to even with the Celtics at TD Garden with another incredible third-quarter run, even briefly taking a one-point lead.
They were poised to not just make Wednesday’s game a close one — they looked prime to steal it.
And then it all fell apart.
What happened?
Another great third quarter was upended by another bad fourth quarter for the Warriors in these NBA Finals.
The Warriors’ third quarters have a mythical status after all these years and have been, frankly, the only reason the Warriors have been competitive in this series.
Through three games of the NBA Finals, the Warriors are plus-43 in that period over the Celtics — the second-best third-quarter team in the league this past season. That’s a 14-point advantage a night.
(Karl Mondon/Bay Area News Group)
But the Celtics are now plus-40 in the fourth quarter.
Which would you rather be? Is it any surprise Boston is up 2-1?
The Warriors’ fourth-quarter problems contain multitudes.
In Game 1, it was the Dubs’ second unit that torpedoed them. Jordan Poole and company allowed a quick 7-0 run to start the frame with Steph Curry on the bench, and when the Warriors put Curry back in the game, the Celtics countered with Al Horford at center.
With the Warriors’ rotation all out of whack and the Celtics knocking down every shot they saw, Boston won the fourth quarter of the all-important Game 1 by 24 points.
The Warriors were chasing going into Game 2, but their 21-point third-quarter win was enough to guarantee Curry could spend the entire fourth quarter on the bench.
Then, on Wednesday, the Warriors only won the third quarter by eight points, and Boston countered by winning the fourth by 12.
(Karl Mondon/Bay Area News Group)
This time, it was Curry at the helm from the start of the quarter. Warriors coach Steve Kerr, remembering the fourth quarter in Game 1, played the Poole-led second unit for the final three minutes of the third quarter. The Celtics might have regained some offensive momentum, but the Warriors’ lead didn’t change for that stretch.
But Curry’s rotation change didn’t help the Dubs. After all, he can help his team lose a game, too. Golden State had five turnovers in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter to put the game in Boston’s hands.
There’s a larger issue at play here. Literally.
The NBA playoffs — and specifically, the Finals — are all about wing players.
For the millionth time, the versatility of wings wins titles. You want the biggest, strongest, and longest players on the court late, because in the fourth quarter of big games, the pace naturally slows. The game becomes a close-quarters battle.
And in that environment, a wing player like 6-foot-10 Jayson Tatum or 6-foot-7 Jaylen Brown can do his best work. Both players can get anywhere off the dribble and knock down a shot.
(Karl Mondon/Bay Area News Group)
Tatum was massive in the fourth quarter of Game 3. He was downright ruthless on the offensive end.
Meanwhile, the Warriors could only create three shots near the rim from their half-court offense in the competitive minutes of the fourth quarter. One was Poole’s dribbling escapade that resulted in a nifty reverse layup. The other two were blocked.
In all, Tatum and Brown scored or assisted on 17 of Boston’s 23 fourth-quarter points in Game 3.
Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson — the Warriors’ starting wing players — were good for five points combined.
Wings win in the fourth.
This is why the Warriors need the third to be a blowout frame.
(Karl Mondon/Bay Area News Group)
The third quarter is an open run compared to the fourth. It’s naturally loose, and Golden State is equipped to compound small adjustments from halftime into big advantages because they can still get out and run — defense turning into offense.
The Warriors have played some slow teams this postseason, but they have played at a 96-possession-per-game pace in the third quarter throughout the playoffs. In the fourth quarter, that drops to a 93-possession pace.
These Finals, through three games, have shown an even steeper final-frame dropoff: The Celtics and Warriors have played at a 94-possession pace in the third quarter. In the fourth, they’re at 87.
Compare the pace of the fourth quarter to that of the fastest frame — the first — in these Finals, and it’s 13 percent slower.
That makes a world of difference for the Warriors, who cannot rely on one player to take over the game by beating his man one-on-one off the dribble.
No, the Warriors need to run an actual offense — in this case, a high pick-and-roll with Curry or Poole. But against a defense that has fourth-quarter intensity and switches everything, it’s more likely to be jammed in the final frame. We saw it again and again and again in Game 3.
(Nhat V. Meyer/Bay Area News Group)
Now, the Warriors still picked up some good looks in the fourth quarter Wednesday. They were far from the hoop, but they were clean.
They just didn’t fall. Brass tacks: That was the difference in the frame.
But the Warriors are playing a high-variance game in the fourth, where you want sure bets. Half of the Celtics’ eight made baskets in the fourth quarter in Game 3 came inside of five feet.
The Dubs can’t change personnel now and no one is getting any taller. This is the team that brought them to the Finals — this is the squad that will have to win three of the next four to raise another banner.
But they need to find a way to be much better in the fourth quarter.
Does that mean a full 12 minutes of Curry?
Probably.
But would that take away from the third, as it did Wednesday?
Seems likely to me.
(Nhat V. Meyer/Bay Area News Group)
The real problem comes in the fact that Poole must play if Curry is off the floor. He is the only other member of the team who can run the pick-and-roll offense the Dubs need to utilize against Boston. There is no reasonable alternative on the Warriors’ roster.
Save for playing Curry every single minute of the second half.
But that solution likely cannot be entertained with the guard’s new foot injury.
Poole’s sketchy play in these Finals is hardly the Warriors’ only reason for being down 2-1, but when it comes to rotations, it is Kerr’s No. 1 issue. Instead of thriving with the second unit, the Warriors are just trying to survive.
That’s a dangerous game to play against a team as good as Boston.
(Karl Mondon/Bay Area News Group)

Refs can't eject individuals ... the team can and does when it's an egregious violation (throwing at someone/fighting/etc)
The refs could assess a "T" on the team whose fans are unruly but that's too subjective with rotating refs and where to draw the line in the sand ... after 1 or 2 warnings over the PA system?
and as you indicated, Dre brought this upon himself. As I recall, he even said he expected the fallout from his actions once in Boston and welcomed the response as a means to motivate himself. Then, after that and listening to Kerr & Thompson lecture us on "class" and poor language in front of virgin ears (what minors are at games that run from 9pm to midnight anyway that haven't already heard this talk on the school bus) we witness Green doing his presser with his toddler next to him using "shit" a couple of times to describe his play and then go on to bully a reporter whose question he too exception to.
The "Do as I say, not as I do GS Warriors." Steve, best you clean up your own house before criticizing the opponent who just beat you. Sure you'd like to shift the narrative from your loss to our fans ... it worked for Kyrie Irving so maybe it will work for you as well. One thing ... there's a big difference between foul language and racism and the Commissioner just told you so.

I have been clear that Jaylen in my opinion: Jaylen was the MVP of game 1, game 3 my favorite player on the Celtics, the only guy I wanted with pick 3 when he was drafted, and my second favorite Celtic of all time (behind only Pierce). I own Brown shoes, jersey, and socks. I own 0 Tatum specific gear. That being said, I do believe that if the Celtics win it all, it will be Tatums face plastered everywhere, including on the cover of NBA live 2023 - even if Brown wins the finals MVP (fair or unfair). I do believe that Tatum will be a top 3 favorite for MVP going into 2023. I believe that Tatum can be a top scorer on a championship caliber team, at present. Im not sure Brown is quite at that level (offensively) currently, as he could stand to clean up his offensive decision making a bit (less trying to dribble through traffic, more playmaking). But that doesnt mean that I dont love him or will be surprised in any way if he takes finals MVP. I will not be surprised if in 2 years, both players are obvious top 8 players in the NBA. I wouldnt be surprised if both players are all NBA in 1-3 years. They are both really freaking good at present and both still getting better.

In every sport the refs are in charge of the integrity of the game including any fan action that impinges on play. They can ask security to do whatever. The chair umps kick people out in tennis a lot. They dont put up with much. I think that's stupid. Tennis players are so sensitive
