People think Danny is a rocket scientist for increasing by a few wins a year. Teams like Minny or the Lakers will blow by you while you are waiting for San Fran and Cleveland to get old

No player for the Warriors should ever go to the hoop this season without ending up on the floor. See how that works out for the " Super Team " after about thirty games

Potentially, and this is very potentially, DA can get them into shouting range of the EC. That's not just one year, but sustainably. He can get them further this year, and certainly in a couple years if he's even more careful.
Or he could just shit it all out for one year, and we reset for another 10 years.

I might not have 10 years but he won't either if that happens. Folks here are creaming their jeans in hopes of Westbrook or Griffin. Neither will get us a ring. The Clippers have under achieved for years and Durrant likely left OKC because he realized Westbrook is a loser to. Big stats small IQ

Only one team can win. It takes: 1. Players 2. Health 3. Chemistry 4. "luck" We have 3 of the 4 right now, and I'm willing to wait until the season starts to see what #1 is. He has plenty of time to s$$$ or get off the pot - one of my father's favorite expressions.

I have .no idea how old Bill is, nor did I intend to offend anyone. My father was born in 1924, and passed in 2007. That info should suffice, and God Bless Bill if he is indeed of that era!!

No you didn't ... you meant for Danny to stop talking and do something. Patience and keeping your powder dry is great but when all the targets of your powder are being scooped up or may not be available in the future as you think ... shouldn't you be using some of that powder now while there are assets to be had that are guaranteed to improve the team now? How long can you wait for Cousins, Griffin, Westbrook, Hayward or Middleton? Waiting for players to become FA's next year may not work out as well as waiting for Horford did this year ... Teams with still more cap room than what the C's potentially have ($15mm) include OKC ($16mm), BRK ($19mm) and both Philly & Denver with $25mm each! Granted, all four of those teams have far less chance of attracting a FA star player this year and maybe even next year but if players collude to play together with one team, we won't be the only option available. So I get it! Strike now while the getting is good or keep harping about waiting for that tantalizing opportunity that may never materialize? While we wait, lots of shooters and centers have been scooped up ... here's another being circled by a predator; www.hoopsrumors.com/2016/07/knicks-interested-in-greg-monroe.htmlThe Knicks are among the teams with an interest in acquiring Bucks center Greg Monroe, who reportedly remains available, Sam Amico of Amico Hoops reports, citing league sources. The Knicks may need a third team to help facilitate a trade for Monroe and would almost certainly have to wait until December to make a deal, Amico adds. The Celtics emerged ( www.hoopsrumors.com/2016/06/bucks-celtics-discuss-trade-for-middleton-monroe.html ) as a suitor for Monroe last month, but talks are reportedly no longer ongoing. The Knicks would be a logical fit, depending on who New York would move, of course. www.basketballinsiders.com/nba-am-the-celtics-still-shopping-for-a-deal/Another name to watch is Milwaukee’s Greg Monroe, as there is a continued belief that the Bucks would like to move Monroe. While his fit next to Al Horford seems like an unlikely pairing, there is a sense that the asking price on Monroe is not that high. The Sacramento Kings have been fairly aggressive in trying to find a trade partner to offload forward Rudy Gay and he too may not require a ton in return. The Celtics still have just north of $15 million in usable cap space, so they could absorb a big contract without needing to worry about matching salary numbers. As much as Celtics fans may want to see the team swing for the fences in a trade, there is a reality that the major names may not be going anywhere and if the Celtics want one more impact-level player, they may have to trade for what’s available to them. The upside on both Hayward and Monroe is both have option years next season and could be free agents, so if the marriage is not a good one, there is no long-term risk; but at the same time, giving up a ton of assets for what could be a one-year rental may not make a lot of sense either.
