League sources tell O’Connor that the Nuggets are trying to move up from No. 26 into the top 20, dangling young bench players or future draft assets in those talks.
Although O’Connor confirms that the Grizzlies are interested in Josh Giddey after trading up to No. 10, he says Memphis could try to move up even further, with an eye on Jonathan Kuminga or James Bouknight.
Giddey, Kuminga, and Bouknight could also be in the mix for the Warriors at No. 7, according to O’Connor, who says Giddey is thought to be one of Golden State’s “main targets.” O’Connor adds that Keon Johnson‘s ceiling may be the Warriors’ pick at No. 7.
The Kings continue to be active in shopping the No. 9 pick, Buddy Hield, and Marvin Bagley III in separate trade scenarios, per O’Connor.
League sources continue to connect the Hornets, who will be seeking a center this summer, to Myles Turner, Richaun Holmes, and Nerlens Noel, according to O’Connor.
Comment: I like all three (Turner/Holmes/Noel) but can't justify adding either unless 1 or 2 of ours are moved.

Geez. Alot of teams trying to move up or even trying to get picks. Either a few players will drop or alot of valuable ones all throughout. We lost our pick. I wish we had asked for a pick back from that kemba trade

And of course there's the Kings who are shopping the No. 9 pick.
Sacramento is also listening to offers for Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley and Harrison Barnes before the draft. Barnes is getting the most interest but not likely to be traded. Bagley III is expected to be gone before the season begins.

this doesnt make feel any better entering the draft knowing we could have just traded kemba and not using that pick

Jazz Trade Derrick Favors To Thunderby Luke Adams 11:58am: The Thunder have officially confirmed the trade, announcing in a press release that they received Favors and a future first-round pick in exchange for a 2027 second-rounder and cash. Oklahoma City likely took on Favors’ contract using the $10.1MM trade exception it had available from last year’s Danilo Gallinari trade. The Jazz will create a new $9.26MM trade exception in the swap.
That's the kind of deal Brad needs but to do it, he needs to waive or trade a few contracts for nothing ...
Note: I also read that the Rockets have interest in Theis ... will Bulls match?

Wonder what this means for my man Yam Madar, or Marcus Smart for that matter?

Wbat you smell is Dunn's three point shooting which is worse than Smart"s who will now be removed so we can bring in point guard number one from The Big Easy so we can entice his baby brother to Boston in a couple of years. If this works, we may bring Red back to coach. And I mean Red . not Big Red.

Why Plan B? Like all teams in the NBA, the Knicks would like to add shooting this offseason. Terrence Ross is an option. Teams have discussed potential Ross trades with Orlando in recent days. Another player to keep an eye on? Evan Fournier. There has been mutual interest between Fournier and the Knicks, per SNY sources. Fournier had significant support in the organization prior to Thursday’s draft. It doesn’t seem like anything that happened on draft night would change that. www.sny.tv/articles/knicks-2021-nba-draft-free-agency-trades-next

From the Athletic:Brad Stevens has once again made a bold statement about his plans to reshape the Celtics, trading Tristan Thompson for Atlanta Hawks players Kris Dunn and Bruno Fernando on Friday and then shortly thereafter trading for Dallas Mavericks wing Josh Richardson, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Richardson has formally opted into his player option for the 2021-22 season, per a league source. The Celtics and Mavericks are expected to finalize Dallas’ side of the deal in the coming days, which will likely either be recently acquired center Moses Brown or a protected draft pick, per sources. The Celtics received a 2023 second-round pick from Atlanta in their first trade of the afternoon. This trade sets the table for the Celtics to walk away if the price for Evan Fournier gets too high. His range has been quoted by league sources as anywhere from $12 million to $20 million next week...

Read that C's want to move up for a player rated at #16 on ESPN board ... not sure how they get there with a late FRDP but here's the rumored pick: Tari Eason (SF)6'8"216 lbs LSU
4 POS RK
16 OVR RK Pre-Draft Analysis March 15, 2022: (2022 NBA mock draft: Drafting players competing in the NCAA tournament) -- Eason wasn't particularly well-known upon transferring from Cincinnati to LSU, but he made the transition to the most talented conference in college basketball look easy in emerging as a first-team All-SEC player, scoring in bunches and filling up the box score despite coming off the bench. Eason has improved his ballhandling and perimeter shooting considerably while putting consistent pressure on opposing defenses with his quick first step, physicality and insatiable intensity, allowing him to live at the free throw line. These same traits help make him one of the most versatile defenders in college, a magnet for steals, blocks and rebounds who flies all over the floor in LSU's suffocating press while rotating from guarding point guards to big men. Eason's passing ability, decision-making and still-streaky jumper are question marks scouts will want to gather more information about in the NCAA tournament, as he sees most of his minutes at center but isn't particularly big or bulky at 6-foot-8 and 216 pounds. LSU was delivered a major blow when Eason's coach, Will Wade, was dismissed Saturday due to recruiting violation allegations, and the Tigers will need their best player to emerge as a leader on and off the court. -- Jonathan Givony
