New record for a player's 1st ECF for points scored in his inaugural game with 48pts besting prior records of 40 & 42 pts by KD and others ...
The before "Atlanta" tune:
and the after:
Oh, and the Hawks did win in MIL stealing the 1st game and HCA 116-113

Bad loss for Milwaukee...if they dont win it all this year with the Nets having been injured and no Lebron/LA in the way and maybe no Kawhi as well, they aint never gonna win it...

Absolutely stupid defense. They were ahead by only 1 pt. There was .09 seconds left. They defended the perimeter to defend maybe a 3 pt shot. Monday morning QB perhaps but they should have been more willing to give the 3 pt shot than allow a shot in the post needing only 2pts to win.

ATL is a perfectly assembled team. I really wish DA would have seriously gone after John Collins. He is the perfect PF and is huge on the Hawks.
They have the perfect mix of veterans and young players who are "specialists". They don't have "positionless" players.
When you can put shooters like Huerter, Bogdanovic, Trae, Gallinari, and Lemom Pepper Lou Williams around extremely athletic bigs like Collins and Capela, that's a recipe for success any way you look at it. And when those guys are making their shots, they are hard to defend.
These are the types of specialists we need to put around JT and JB. Hopefully we can develop some of our young players or we're in trouble.

Plus I really didn't know any songs from them per say although I knew they had some songs that were hits that I would know. I definitely like that one and remember it well. Still here at a lot on classic rock stations, but do they have anything else?

Not sure if you heard back from cole yet but your "Che" account looks like you deleted it in your haste ...
I told cole there is an old accout that's still active > "dfries13" if you remember the password. Not sure if the IP Address matters if it's the same or you changed things up but you can try that one.

Why didn't we keep him COACHING............ Wyc is calling the shots Stevens is a puppet nothing more........ How do you get a midget to stop smiling? Trade him to OKC..

Chris Paul went to OKC and he kept smiling. They one too much with him and obviously he still had value to other teams. Surprisingly, Horford also played pretty well and got pulled from the floor because they were winning too much I wouldn't be surprised if Horford still had something left in the tank for this year. Don't expect him to come in In-Shape (he never does), but by the end he might be able to play light starters minutes. He shouldn't have had that much wear-and-tear the last couple of years

I've never heard that before but I like it. I like how the pianist changes keys. Doesn't give much for the singer to go on
Love shak....headed down the Atlanta high way. I actually like that song even though it's kind of Pop. The guitar is really funky live, and I like the way the girls vocals kind of grate on each other

Don't expect him to come in In-Shape (he never does), but by the end he might be able to play light starters minutes. He shouldn't have had that much wear-and-tear the last couple of years
You didn't hear his press conference today ... here's some of what he said regarding his condition:
Horford said that Williams and Jayson Tatum were two of the many former and new teammates who reached out to him when news of the trade broke. Horford said “It was great to have that. It was an exciting time for me to go through all that. Right away, I’m thinking ahead about everything we need to do.”
On what needs to be done, Horford’s mind is already focused on the 2021-22 season. He’s already in Boston and said he’s seen several of his teammates at the Auerbach Center (Boston’s practice facility) putting in work. Horford stressed that getting ready for the next season starts now: “We just need to put ourselves in position to be ready physically and mentally. Finally, we’re going to have a normal season. To be the team we want to be, we need to put in the work now.”
As he heads into his 15th season, Horford said that one of the biggest things he’s learned is how important this part of the NBA calendar is to being ready for the upcoming season. Horford thanked the Oklahoma City medical staff for getting him to a great place physically over the past year. He said he feels more physically ready for the 2021-22 season than he usually does during the offseason.
Horford noted that he’ll work with the Celtics coaches and training staff, but that he feels there should be no limitations on him playing back-to-back games in the upcoming season.

By next weekend he'll be in Dominica getting drunk. I'll believe it when I see it
