With Bucks center Miles Plumlee locked up to a new four-year deal, Greg Monroe remains available in trade talks, says ESPN’s Marc Stein (Twitter links). Stein suggests that Monroe and Kings forward Rudy Gay are two of the NBA’s most prominent veterans known to be on the trade block. > Just saying ...

www.hoopsrumors.com/2016/07/free-agency-rumors-nets-waiters-motiejunas.htmlDonatas Motiejunas is one of just three restricted free agents still on the market, and he spoke to Mark Berman of FOX 26 Houston about his status. According to Motiejunas, his agent remains in touch with the Rockets, but he’s also talking to other possible suitors. “There are a couple of teams that still have a lot of interest in me,” Motiejunas said. “I’m not necessarily back (with the Rockets). There are teams that also have a chance to offer (a contract). You never know what’s going to happen, but if it ends up I’m coming back, I’m really happy.” My Comment: Maybe not stronger but longer and more athletic than Sully

Brown's athleticism must be maintained...plus he's a smart guy...we need a team with athletic smart guys with tough attitudes....he's a winner and a keeper...he has to stay! I'd love to keep Smart too, but the way he fouls stupidly sometimes..... I agree with you, but teejay can already tell we blew this draft pick. Wait, we are talking about a high draft pick here, the best way to add talent to the team. Now we don't like the pick?

No, just him. He says Brown has a zero BBIQ. He, of course, knows what he's talking about, right? He also thought Kris Dunn was 6'6", Austin Ainge runs the Scouting Dept, and the trade links were coming from the Celtics. teejay claims to also want to build through the draft, then criticizes all the picks we made. I LOVE the pick, myself!!

I LOVE the pick, myself!! We got a great guy. Only time will tell how good he is. So far who cant like what he has done. He doesn't need the IQ (although I believe he has BBIQ). He needs to put the ball in the basket and make plays and so far he has done that. Dunn.. I like Dunn... another PG..but he showed c**kiness and arrogance ala Melo. He has yet played a meaningful game and the guy was trashtalking...no thanks. No BBIQ right there. One of those that can be disruptive to the team. A thug. He will also have to prove what he is worth.

I LOVE the pick, myself!! Duh! Should have read your post more carefully. I get it. In this league, nobody is going to hand you something. If you over-reach, you end up making trades like Brooklyn did with the Celts. The big question is: Are the Celts making progress? That is a hard task while keeping options open with salary cap management, assets and player development. But I like the way the Celts are doing it. The choices are becoming obvious. Sullinger had to be let go. James Young should be on his way out. We will miss Turner. Hoping that Rozier steps up. Amir Johnson is better suited for the 4 spot. Horford is an excellent upgrade. Unfortunately, the window is not indefinite. Bradley's great contract will end in a couple of years. Smart will become a RFA at the same time. Olynyk becomes one next year. The Celts have upto next year to sign a difference making free agent. After that, the picture becomes murky. Hopefully, one or more of Rozier and Brown really becomes a difference maker.

I LOVE the pick, myself!! Man, the kid is an ATHLETE and is smart as a whip...he can learn so he'll LEARN how to shoot a jump shot...as I recall, Lebron didn't exactly shoot lights out when he first came into the NBA either, nor did Magic Johnson...But they sure did learn! This kid works hard and has a BIG OL'BRAIN, he'll learn to shoot from the outside well enough to get people to play up on him, then watch out, he'll REALLY fly by them then!!!! lmfao! And D? he can surely stay in front of his man and is probably one of the fastest, if not the fastest and quickest wing in the NBA today...D is not going to be a problem for him...his D is going to be a problem for whoever he is guarding...he's going to be a total pest! I love it!
