An early game today ... I'm expecting just bench players for the most part so won't be posting plays/scores but only comments and an occasional video of the action.
Celtics shorthanded in Minnesota Boston will rest up heading into the play-in tournament. By wjsy

With much of the playoff seedings still in doubt in both conferences heading into the final weekend of the regular season, the Celtics start a back-to-back in Minneapolis today and Madison Square Garden tomorrow afternoon with nothing on the line.
The Celtics are .500 and are locked in as the 7-seed in the Eastern Conference. They’ll host the 8-seed on Tuesday night with the Hornets, Pacers, and Wizards still in play to be in Boston on May 18th.
So, with only a losing record for 2020-2021 at stake, Boston will look like they have for much of the regular season vs. the Timberwolves: banged up and missing key players. The Celtics injury report was so long it two tweets to fit everybody on it.
The expected names are Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams. Brown is out for the rest of the season after having successful wrist surgery on Monday to repair a torn left scapholunate ligament. He’s expected to return to basketball activities in three months. Williams is still dealing with a pesky left turf toe that has forced him to miss three out of the last four games; so far, a cortisone shot has yet to reduce the inflammation.
With the play-in tournament in mind, the Celtics will rest Kemba Walker (left cervical nerve irritation), Tristan Thompson (left pectoral strain), and Marcus Smart (right calf contusion). Jayson Tatum and Evan Fournier are probable, but will most likely be under a minutes limitation.

Attention Danny Ainge! Riles & the Heat just added MOAR size to their roster for the playoffs ... you could learn something from him though it's too late now.
Heat Sign Omer Yurtsevenby JD ShawThe Heat have signed free agent center Omer Yurtseven, the team announced in a press release today. Miami’s roster is now full ahead of the playoffs. “Couldn’t be more proud and excited to be a part of this culture and get to work with the best of the best,” he wrote on social media. “The grind continues.”
Yurtseven appeared in 14 G League games this season with Oklahoma City, averaging 15.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest. He also recorded five double-doubles during that span. The big man joins a Heat roster that already has Precious Achiuwa and Nemanja Bjelica off its bench, along with All-Star Bam Adebayo and veteran big man Udonis Haslem in its frontcourt. Miami is 39-31 with two games remaining in the 2020/21 season. Yurtseven won’t travel with the team for either game, the club announced (via Twitter). Exact terms of his deal aren’t yet known, but the Heat have already used their full mid-level exception, so they couldn’t have offered more than a two-year deal.
