The hapless Bulls for the last decade or two have caught up to the C's like everyone else in the EC ... Danny s/b embarrassed seeing Vuc & Theis sans LaVine beat us despite Kemba & Smart being out.

Well basically, after seeing us sort of do OK lately though never actually dominating one game, we shit the bed...back to reality...pathetic ensemble...

You can tell that Curry is just so tired of carrying the whole team on his back...another year wasted of his life (except for making huge money) due to Clay Thompson's injury...just like Clay wasted last year due to Steph's injury...
Two years gone where the Warriors could have challenged the Lakers and shown they are fine without Durant...
They won one before Durant glommed on like the feeble wanker he is...despite possibly being the most talented in the league...just not as determined as the bully ball LeQueen...

Given a lot of circumstances, I don't feel so bad about the loss, except we really needed the win.
Obviously the biggest concern is that we had no big to challenge Vuc at all. TT needs to take a good look in the mirror after last night.

Vuc only got 29, right?...I think our lack of scoring was the issue...Is Fournier ever coming back?...and sign IT as a sparkplug off the bench...

Regarding Durant: I always liked Durant and felt he was close to coming to Boston as he was courted by us and Tom Brady, especially , & he would have liked more of a challenge than the slam dunk ring with GS. I felt like KG had never won a title but he still would chose Boston as a challenge to do it and I wished Durant had too. But, I guess, a bit frustrated, and it’s an enigma to me that OKC once had Harden, Durant & Westbrook & then only Durant & Westbrook(still formidable) and still couldn’t win. The Warriors were not their downfall at that time…it was the Spurs…and their twin towers, Duncan & Robinson !!! GS has won the last few years without a dominating big man with the best 3 pt shooters in the game but I like a shot blocker and good rebounder…more rebounds can make up for poor shooting nights. Personally, I think that the Bucks with Giannis will beat Philly(if they beat Toronto) but Embiid is still a good big man. Thus, Durant going with GS and getting a ring was more important than a true challenge. And, we would have won the title with Durant and our young talent without Irving and maybe have kept Thomas. I wish too we had gone after Kawhi Leonard instead of Gordon Hayward(even if he didn’t get hurt). We really haven’t gone after a star to make us championship calibre like the hated Lakers went and go LeBron and then Davis!

Poor Curry, has to play on a mediocre team for two years after playing on one of the most loaded teams ever. Klay wasnt healthy last year, nothing was wasted.

Disappointed with last night's loss despite having guys out. We were playing a mediocre Bulls team with literally one player, Vucevic, and we couldn't get it done. Two all stars versus one, I'll bet on my two all stars. Our defense was absolutely atrocious (and too many 2nd chance points). The Bulls got whatever they wanted. And offensively, we just didn't get it done (and too many unforced turnovers).
With RWill, KW and MS out (Fournier really hasn't fully been in yet), everybody had to step up. I love how Tatum compensated for the assists we'd normally get from KW and MS. Great job. He also helped out with 13 rebounds compensating for RWill's absence (although it would have been nice to get a couple offensive rebounds - all 13 of his rebounds were defensive rebounds). It was great getting those two unexpected contributions from JT. The problem is...the one area we expect from him, he failed miserably. When JT arrives at the arena, I tend to pencil him in for a minimum 22 points, easy. IMO, he just cannot have a bad shooting game against this Bulls team. To me, it seemed like a hollow, uneventful first triple-double of his career (that surprised me too).
And honestly, like JT about a month ago, JB has too many Carmello-type games. All JB does is score - he doesn't rebound, he doesn't assist, he doesn't draw fouls (no free throws last night) but he went 10-15 overall and 3-4 from the 3-point line.
I will always say, as JT and JB go, so go the Celtics. We have FOURTEEN games left and it's "go time". We have an opportunity to get the 4th spot nailed down with consistently good play but we can also end up with the dreaded 7th seed. It's games like last night that we cannot have happen or we'll find ourselves in the 7th or 8th seed playing in a "play-in" game and who knows which Celtics team shows up for something like that.
It's going to be tough with PHX and BKN on a back to back. We've played all season with guys out of the lineup and done a decent job. After 6 straight, good wins, last night was a major letdown. That was the one we shoulda had more easily than any of the previous six.

Brown had 13 points in the first 6 minutes of the game, and then checked out! Tatum 3 for 17 is the main reason we lost! Parker had another pretty good game, he should start getting all of Grant and Semi's minutes! Pritchard should have shot more and handled the ball more! TT did okay, we just need RWill's usual numbers also! Bad loss is all I can say!

Again, despite who didn't play, it was a bad loss considering who did play. I wonder if Tremont deserved more time. Langford isn't a PG. Easy to armchair QB, but Tremont looked like he could have really helped - he had the best 8 minutes I've seen from a bench player in a long time.
Yeah, GWill and Semi just don't move the needle. Maybe, and hopefully that is BS's plan, it's time to showcase Fournier and Parker together for the final 14 games (if EF is back).

For all the eye candy that Parker appears, let’s not forget all the defensive mess ups in the game. Ok, I understand that he is getting back to playing on an accelerated schedule. Still, he looked pretty bad to me.
Just a tough loss. We had to many players that are either bad or just not ready, see minutes. Theis shut down TT because he knows all his tendencies. Vuc got hot. Tatum had a really bad game.

For Celtics fans, the 14 points and 5 turnovers culminating in a loss just seems like a hollow, yet great accomplishment.

Tatum had a really bad game.? . I seldom take up for Tatum..
. Players have bad games all the time. What point are you driving home?
.His Airness made just 9-of-35 shots in an 87-80 loss to the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, which the Bulls ended up winning in five games en route to their fifth NBA championship.
I'll be more concerned if it was in the playoffs.
We lost a regular season game.. Means little this year.. Ask the Nets or Lakers/
Its all about the playoffs...

If losing games means little this year, when we end up in a play-in game and/or end up at Philly in round 1 because we couldn't win games like last night, maybe then it will be okay to post about a bad game at a horrible time. And Che, I will excuse you for comparing the Celtics to the Nets or Lakers. We're not on the same court as those teams. The regular season means little to them because, combined, they have 5 of the top 7 players in the NBA today. We don't have that luxury so winning games for playoff position does mean something. Besides, I'll post about Tatum's bad games in the playoffs when the playoffs start but, right now, we can only post about the games they play. There are very few teams in the position to say "it's all about the playoffs" with any level of confidence. We aint one of them.

After this news we may have more in common (injury-wise) and match up better come the playoffs ...
Harden Suffers Setback, Could Be Out Until Playoffs by Dana Gauruder
Nets guard James Harden has suffered a setback in his rehab from a hamstring injury, the team tweets.
It occurred during an “on-court rehab session” on Monday, according to the team statement.
Harden had an MRI on Tuesday and will remain out indefinitely.
“We’re back to square one,” head coach Steve Nash said, according to an ESPN report. “He will be back when he’s back. It might be the playoffs. It might be sooner.”
Over the weekend, GM Sean Marks expresses optimism that Harden would suit up soon, so this obviously caught the Nets by surprise. Harden suffered the injury in the early going against the Knicks on April 5.
If the injury continues to sideline him or be a source of concern during the postseason, it could obviously wreck the team’s championship aspirations. Harden has played to an MVP level since forcing a trade from the Rockets in January. He’s averaging 25.4 PPG, 11.0 APG and 8.7 RPG with Brooklyn.

So don't get so excited about the Sox then at this point.

We'll face the 76ers or the Nets most likely at some point. I think ya missed my point.. All players have bad games always have always will. Small sample sizes bore me.. I take a long look. Tatum has played fairly well the past few games.. Just because we have dim hopes doesn't change the fact.. It's all about the playoffs.
