Don’t see how doubling somebody 30 feet away from the basket is a good idea, even so they tried to trap him as he hit an off balanced 3 in on 2 guys. So the argument is pretty ridiculous. It’s just blaming Brad to say it’s the coach Maybe that penultimate three could have been doubled, but that final three was well defended. Better offense, as they say Agree don’t really see how you can play the game winner much better. Took a 30 footer off a dead sprint and step back off balanced. Sometimes you tip your cap to great players |

Here’s where I disagree...they don’t have 2 dominant players. They have 2 young players with high potential. Like I’ve said since I joined this forum is that we crowned them as superstars way too early. Simply scoring 24ppg doesn’t make you a superstar, these 2 guys have a long way to go in terms of being all around basketball players who control the game and make others better If you need to be motivated as a professional athlete, then it’s the athletes problem. How is it Brads fault they care more about the all star game than regular season games? They’re young and immature, they’ll Learn just like management. Just because you have the title of manager doesn't make you angreat leader. Two different things. And in a professional environment, a leader motivates. A manager just orders. Basketball is no different and yes at some point they will need an extra push, a motivator. A leader. I am available and will play for peanuts...but for sure I could lead these guys better...One lecture about Celtic pride and they would all crawl in to a corner and hide... |

I call it attention to detail. It separates the winners from the losers in all aspects of life. Do you think you’ll ever answer my question you quoted or did you want to continue avoiding it cause you know it flies in the face of your logic? We can cry all we want about a guy making a 30 footer on 2 defenders and say it’s bad coaching. We can also rewatch the game and say every single bad play a player made cost them the game as well? They are not bad coaches because they are no longer competing for championships. That ? doesnt require an answer. it is self explanatory. It has nothing to do with the Brad Stevens argument. Did you notice what happened to the Lakers when AD got hurt?? They lost 4 in a row! Brad has been dealing with that all season, plus the loss of Hayward! Actually we're doing pretty good to be where we are!
