I heard that Rob Williams has more blocked shots than missed shots this year! I wouldn't doubt it!

I'm not going to say "good win" because it wasn't a good win. But I'll take it because it's a "W" and not a "L".
This Celtics team is flawed. Flawed and very inconsistent. They are more inconsistent than anything. Great game by RWill and Theis but horrible games by JT and JB. Even Teague played an important role. Hopefully, these guys can play this way on Sunday while JT and JB return to All Star form.
If our stars are tired, then sit them for a game or two. If they aren't tired, then they need to step their games up.
This is the grind of an NBA season and, never before, have Tatum and Brown been the team's focal point like they are now. Well, this is what's expected......you suck it up, dig deep and be that superstar you're supposed to be. This is where the truly elite raise their game and lead on the court.
JT and JB, we eeked out a win in spite of your play. Let's come back on Sunday and lead again.

Strong message you send to the Jays about sucking it up and leading like the superstars they aspire to be.
Are you "channeling" CBS?
Do you see Brad able to effectively coach these two guys up into taking the next step?
Does Brad have it in himself to rally the team behind this duo because the Jays will need a lot of help from their supporting cast?
And the supporting cast too must buy in 100%.
That's a lot to expect from a young, wonkish coach.

Decided to catch the Golden State and Hornets game. Have to say that Hayward didn’t look at all special. He is a good heady player but you just don’t notice him. Terry does stand out as a player. He had made a good leap in Charlotte this year.

Rwill's best game by far!
And lets hire Russ as a special consultant to school TimeLord on the finer points of his position.
After all, Russ knows a thing or two!

Hed touch the ball here and get yelled at for shooting too much wouldn't bother him! Ainge is reported to say that we need another player that can score that won't be subservient to Tatum and Brown. Did you hear that Kemba?

Now the teammates are bad after hearing how much better they were than last year. There’s not many great players in the league, most role players are the same. Won’t get their own shot, but can hit open shots others create for them.

Pud, I'm channeling my inner Petey. CBS would never challenge these guys like that. He's way too passive for that. I honestly don't see Brad taking JT and JB to the next level. I really don't. I believe these guys need a veteran leader who is not subservient to them. Kemba may talk it, but he's not a leader. He's a very good player but leader.....no. We need an alpha leader and player like a Russell Westbrook. We need a guy who won't be 3rd to JT and JB and who will perform like an alpha on the court. Nobody gets in JT or JB's face when they aren't playing their games. Last night, JB kept forcing things and losing the ball. Somebody needed to get in his face and set him straight. As for Tatum, the worst thing to happen to him was working with Kobe two summers ago. Now you see Tatum dribbling 10 times in front of his defender and then shooting a jumper. Or, you see him with his back to the defender and he does that Kobe "lean back" and eventual fallaway jumper. TATUM, YOU ARE NOT KOBE!! I loved his game as a rookie because he was simply being himself. JT and JB have all the talent in the world. If only they could be coached and taught more, they'd be even better.

How do you jive that with their increased assist average this year? They were more selfish the years they averaged fewer assists?

Robert Williams has played 356 fewer minutes than Daniel Theis this season and only has 5 less rebounds. Williams also has more total blocks, steals and double-doubles. START ROBERT WILLIAMS t.co/WwKQnf0Pgq

They were more selfish the years they averaged fewer assists? They’re the two best players on the team and the offense now runs through them. I haven’t checked but I’m willing to bet the team apg is way down towards the bottom of the league. There’s no excuse for 2 guys that are crowned what they were to be this bad of a team Edit: looks like they’re 28th in the league in assists per game Also not like they’re actually averaging high assists numbers. They average 8 between the two of them.
