Hayward should thank Smart as Hayward almost lost this game for the Celts, when he got his shot blocked late in the game. You are correct. I know he thought he had a layup but turn around and kill the clock...we had 3pt lead 111-108 they needed to foul and only 16 sec left with a 4pt lead with foul shots we were slam dunk winners.

That's why I prefer close games like this instead of blowouts and Tacko time. Brad should've let Kemba handle the ball late in the game instead of Tatum.

Theis/Kanter 17/19. And RWill had full contact today.

Romeo looked like a rookie today, and only 16 points from our bench. I'm a broken record, I know, but we need bench scoring

I think and I hope that GWill and Romeo are taking Semi's minutes now. That means if we ever do sign someone, Semi, or Green could be the ones to go. Not yet on Poirier because we need to see if RWill can play again.

Cs had the game salted away by 10 and then the wheels began to come off at crunch time.
We tried our best to give the game away....
...until my man put a stop to things.

That one made me nervous!! Like Fierce said a couple games ago, Smarts a winner! I saw on the bottom of the screen, Tatum has climbed in to the mvp conversation!

High expectations for the Time Lord. Sounds like they passed on Capela etal for the Theis/Kanter/RWill triumvirate. Can he pick up where he left off and avoid injury for the final 1/4 season. DA is projecting a return by RWill by March 1st.
Timelord has had plenty of time off to get his bottom half in good order, and was already starting to turn heads with some unexpected passing chops and near-basket jumpers.
As the Celtics get ready to dive into one of the toughest stretches of the season, facing the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers, Utah Jazz and Portland Trailblazers before a rematch with the Rockets to close out the month, they’ll need all the help they can get.
Only the Minnesota Timberwolves loom in what’s left of February as a sub- .500 team, so news Williams would likely return to 5-on-5 practice after All-Star week should be most welcome news for Boston fans.
The Celtics may yet make minor improvements around the margins with buyout options should one seem a good mutual fit.
But, despite making no moves ahead of this year’s trade deadline, Boston may be “adding” young, capable talent that will help preserve their stars for the postseason even if they aren’t likely to see many minutes in the actual postseason.

From another board...a head scratcher...
In the last 2 minutes of each quarter, total 8 minutes, OKC outscored the Celtics 32-8. In the other 40 minutes, the Celtics outscored OKC 114-79.

We beat a good team today, and they were on a streak! 2 of our big 4 played very good, Hayward and Brown played average! Tice and Kanter played their guys about even, I'll take it! As Hedley keeps saying, we need bench scoring!

That we need to play the whole quarter?...that is a pretty crazy stat...and I am not exactly sure what it means...threw it out there to see what other folks thought...inquiring minds want to know...hence, a head scratcher...

lol, I thought it was a pretty overweight stat, so then actually the rest of the game the Celtics outscored OKC by 104-79...not quite as impressive/outrageous...

Nah, just obsessed with the Celtics...pretty much the only show in town...sort of only watch the B's sporadically until the playoffs...looks like the Sox might as well cancel their season...

San Diego State University Aztecs are the only undefeated team in college right now...they might have to move up into a stronger division, Kawhi is from there...24-0
