The more I see of Carsen Edwards, the more I like him!! Like Curry, he's in range when he crosses the half court line!! He also moves well without the ball! Talk about spacing the floor, he's gonna really help the post players! Lets start with Eddie House. We will graduate to Curry later.

Paul Pierce, who was in Boston promoting his new line of CBD products, says the perception of Boston is not the reality. “I don’t think a lot of this stuff has to do with the city,” Pierce told MassLive. “I think it has a lot to do with what direction you’re going to, the point of your career you’re at as a player. So I don’t really buy into those things because every player that I know that’s played for the Boston Celtics, 99 percent of them say ‘I didn’t know Boston was like this, this is one of the best franchises’ and they really liked playing for the city of Boston.” – via Booth Newspapers Free Agency, Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics

“I think it more has to do with the city, or the weather, or Boston has always been known as a racist city, but people come and it’s not like that anymore,” Pierce said. “That’s just what it is. It’s been known for that. Once they get here and understand what it’s all about, they change their whole opinion.” – via Booth Newspapers Free Agency, Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics

he’s also smaller than the midget IT, and won’t be on the floor in close games for that reason [br Don't call people midget! 6'with a 6'6" wing span!! more like 5’9, 5’10 in shoes

I'm excited to see what Edwards can do in the summer league. He's now my 2nd favorite Celtic behind Tatum.

Carsen reminds me of Trae Young, not Curry. Eddie House was 6-1, 180 pounds. Carsen is 6-0, 200 pounds. No way House's body type is similar to that of a linebacker.

[br Don't call people midget! 6'with a 6'6" wing span!! more like 5’9, 5’10 in shoes You may be mixing up Carson Edwards and Tremont Waters. Waters is 5'9" or 5'10" in shoes.
Edwards: Measured 5'10'' without shoes, 6' with shoes, 195 lbs, with a 6'6.25' wingspan and 7'10.5'' standing reach at the June 2018 NBA Combine.
Waters: Waters checked into the NBA Combine at 5-10 3/4 (w/shoes), 172.4 pounds, 6-2 1/4 wingspan, 9.75 hand width (biggest hands among PGs).

If he has that as well then many teams will be kicking themselves for passing up on him.

We'll know more once we see them in the summer league. But it's a win-win situation. Celts just got Edwards in the 2nd round, it's not like the Celts wasted a 1st round pick to get him. I really thought he would be picked late in the 1st round. Could be a steal for the Celts.

Depending on other moves, three of the four picks could be in the rotation this year

House and Edwards are both spark plugs, but House was more of a straight-line runner. He would kind of run (well) from 3 pt line to 3 pt line, and wait for a pass, as he was a 3 and D spot up kind of guy. Edwards moves far better laterally, and has much more anticipation. Unlike House, he's everywhere out there.
