Correction.... the Greek Freak TO at the 2:20 mark of the 4Q was the only TO recorded in the last 5 minutes except for the Shot Clock Violation TO at the 3.5 second mark.

Very late i the 4th Pud i don't remember the exact times and i didn't record it. Calledit off the Greak. Both announcers agreed it went off Horford and the NBA admitted 4 missed calls but not this one. What i'm more curious about is the NBA now praticing damage control. Looks like they know they on on the hot seat usually only politicians use this approach. Just to be fair Can the fans and players start voting for Commissioners and Refs? I'm not a commie conspirator but i smell something. So at the 2:20 mark, you claimed (see below) that the ball should have been awarded to the Bucks and that they should have been able to run out the clock if the correct call had been made.
You posted: "C's never shouldve had the ball at the end of the game. The freak was driving and had the ball roll off a bostons players leg but the ref called it off of the Freak instead. Bucks couldve run out the clock and the game wouldve been over!"
That was at the 2:20 mark!
That's what made me scratch my head about whether or not you were watching the same game that I was.

Oh the timeframe doesn't add up i see why you questioned me. I was watching the same game on TNT i don't have a league pass because i'm leaving in the next couple of weeks so i miss no national tv games. Don't remember why i said they could have run the clock out. Late 4th quarter i smoke but i don't get that high maybe that. Mikey Mouse clock i my head stopped. Anyway i hardly ever blame a ref for game you know i put it on Stevens 99%

for what it's worth I took it that dee was arguing with me about the refs at the time. he just didn't write it well. notice my response was "defensive" if you want to go back and read all the context although not in the emotional sense...debate sense
often I think all this 2 minute drill is just a smoke screen.

I see it now and i remembered saying it. Two hours after the game. My mind was mush at that point is my guess. Cole is right i was just pointing out the bad call on the Bucks and don't have a clue why i said the game would have run out. Sometimes i don't proof read my comments usually poor spelling this was poor timing i suppose. I'm still a little confused why i get lumped with Cole and Dr B. and e 8 also at times I said clearly i'm a middle of the road man on this . . I tired of this subject i have drawn no lines in the sand for once.

With things going wrong for Celtics, time to get back to basicsBy Tom LaneJeff Haynes/NBAE via Getty Images
This is sound advice for groups and individuals. When things are no longer working, go back to basics - and work from there. The two basics in pro basketball are defense and rebounding. They don't depend on a hot hand, luck, leadership or team chemistry. They come about because of hard work, dedication to the task at hand and determination to stop every opponents' offensive move and to crash the boards to get every rebound. I'll start with defense (or lack thereof) in the loss to the very-mediocre Bulls. I offer the following (per NBA's Andrew Seligman):
May I suggest that Lavine and Markkanen are not in the same league as Michael and Scottie, two of the top-5 NBA players of the time. They combined for 73 points on close to 60% accuracy from the field. How the Hell does that happen?Rebounds? Chicago had 49 to Boston's 32. The Bulls Markkanen gathered 15 on his own. Tops for the Celtics were the Marci (Smart & Morris) with six each. I have applauded Jayson Tatum for becoming a better board man, but he had a paltry single rebound in this game. How the Hell does that happen? CelticsLife's Justin Quinn gives us a clue: Change needs to start at the top - and that is Danny Ainge. Danny may have been a gunner in his day, but I could never accuse him of lack of effort. He needs to let Brad Stevens know that avoiding hurt feelings is off the table. I see no huge issues with Kyrie Irving except on the defensive end - and most likely with his wavering leadership skills. Terry Rozier needs to take a hit on his minutes. Tatum needs to be turned loose on offense - while being reminded to pass the ball on some of his drives and not to neglect rebounding. Jaylen Brown needs to get more floor time and not be yanked by Brad when he is on target. As much as I respect Stevens, he does not seem to mind offending Jaylen when he is on a roll. The Celtics face the Raptors tomorrow night, and a win would go a long way to helping cure Boston's ills. It starts with defense and rebounding - the basics. Brad's stance needs to be - do both or get taken out. Period! Hurt feelings? So what. We have come to that.
