That last play happened in slow motion for me!! Al blocked the shot , ball went through his hands, Tatum reached for the ball but couldn't grab it, Rondo went to the ball and as he rose up and let it go, I could see it was going in, the only thought that entered my mind was,THIS ONES FOR YOU,PUD!!

It should never have come down to the last shot. We were up 18 points and took our feet off the gas. That should never have happened. Somehow Brad has to motivate these guys to play hard for the full 48 every game.

And why can't Horford catch the damn ball! another issue we gotta solve. When Horford brings an A B game we win easily. Problem is that he is very inconsistent. So now that we have a roster spot open, in my opinion this is the position to address.

As acie-MVP used to say at BDC.... even a blind squirrel finds an occasional nut.
I would have bet the house that R9R would not even draw iron.

Kyrie was ice cold to start the game, but he was having a great fourth quarter. The box score doesnt make it appear so, but dont overlook 10-10 at the line. Also, it wasnt about not hitting clutch shots at the end. Kyrie got a dope basket with 18 seconds left that gave us the lead. Like so many times, it looked again like he won the game for us. But defense let us down at the end. This loss is completely on Stevens for having Hayward out there at the end of the game. Jaylen Brown contests that shot. The defense wasn't just bad for the last 18 seconds. When a bad team like the Lakers can score 129 points against you its a good bet that the defense was bad-through lack of effort-ALL GAME. Why didn't anyone have a hand in Rondo's face for the last shot? No one contested it at all. Everyone just stood around watching, just like they did all game. These guys have the talent to have won a lot more games than they have won, but the effort is not there every game. As I said, its an easy team to hate. No need to put a hand in Rondo's face.
The book on him based on 10+ years in the league.... play him to pass when the game is on the line.

Dude, there was less than a second left when Rondo shot the ball. There was no time for him to pass in that situation. With the game on the line you have to play defense against whoever has the ball. Normally you are right: let him shoot. Not then.

Not when theres a half second left, and Rondo has always been a deadly finisher from 10ft in.

Not when theres a half second left, and Rondo has always been a deadly finisher from 10ft in. Rondo plays for the big games and the playoffs. Nothing new and yes half a second isn't much. Pumpsie was right. Stevens should have made some move it should have not been this close. Not for you and Hayward needs to sit but it's always one player we complain about. Sometimes its Rozier sometimes Horford Brown or anyone else. Who does this point to. Stevens struggles to put the right lineup in at crucial moments. Ran the Midget out. Stevens is next on my list.

I do agree and question Stevens moves too. But leaving Brad out of the equation, we need a big in place. Baynes is been hurting and Horford inconsistent. I hope we get someone. Irving and Jordan could be exciting. But what do i know

Kanter seems the most likely but Jordon might be better for defense and rebounding but he seems to have lost a step or two the past couple seasons. Neither one shoots threes Stevens likes bigs who hang out on the three point line. Offensive rebounds and rim proection. are an afterthought

I read somewhere that his defensive rating was next to last among qualifying centers. We need him for defense, and he can't contribute there.

Yup, they beat us with more 3s and we beat them with more Rebs and 20 foul shot points to 7 but LeBron(Celtic Killer) made four 3s in last 5-6 minutes when we couldn't break away from a 5 pt lead. As usual, without a big man, it seemed McGee, former GS player, dominated us in the post and they did outscore us 50 to 42 in the paint.
Hayward has turned mediocre...says he's willing to come off the bench...he's no Havilchek...of course, I don't know who is ? LA was willing to trade 1/2 their team for Davis and I feel we should too !!!

Trying to keep up with the Joneses? That usually doesn't work out. Thought this was a well thought out long term plan to be a contender for years. Looks to me like we might well be facing a rebuild.

So now that we have a roster spot open, in my opinion this is the position to address. Yup, bring in someone like DeAndre Jordan or Kanter, so we can rest Horford and ensure he's fresh for postseason.

No need to worry folks.
Just because the Bucks Raptors and the 76ers made moves to get better. Ainge has this to say.Note were at about half season and plenty of time to incorporate a player.
Ainge: Celtics' East rivals could face post-trade adjustment periods.
Bull fuckin shit

It always happens. DA stands pat and then we are crying in the playoffs hoping so and so was healthy while we could have added someone else. Hopefully this year will be different but time is running out

Hopefully this year will be different but time is running out That's all well and fine his decision his butte. To imply the other contenders are going to have problems when it's obvious they have upgraded their roster looks like he's grasping for straws. No other logical way to read this. Unless your a brown nosed cheerleader. You not. Alot are.

He's been known to short-arm bunnies with the game on the line.
Rondo should have been fouled and sent to the FT line.
That would have been something for the ages.

Danny Ainge: Celtics reached out to players on buyout market, unsure about interest. Really more BS
Unsure about the interest? I reached for my girlfrind yesterday. She buushed me off. Just a guess but i don't think she was interested.
I'm not so bright but i'm honest.

Rondo won the game no time to foul they couldn't touch him in time.
Who shot the best all game and the most assists also... Smart or Rondo?. Cream rises to the top where i come from.
Shouldn't have been that close Stevens let the team blow a big lead this has happened often.

I waited for Rondo's cream to rise at crunch time for years... back when he was claiming to be an all star and the best PG in the league.
Now??? He's simply a journeyman PG.... going nowhere.
Time has passed the both of us by.
