newbie on the board is not what i meant. Here you go interpreting things your way. Ask NY fans or Laker fans if they want Kyrie or Rozier. You're the only one here saying the Celts are better of keeping Rozier and trading Kyrie. Saying that Celts are better off keeping Rozier and trading Kyrie is a remark that only newbies in basketball make. thing is i could care less who LA wants or who they dont want. My point is not against kyrie either as i think he is a crafty skilled player. The issue is his hero works. When he doesnt, we easily beat teams easily.is not about kyrie. Thats what you have loved to put on my mouth. Thats how you fail here in this board. You like to put words on others mouth. Ill say it again this team excels when they dont do ISO, when they play D and share the ball and it all begins with that guy. Beat it

All I said was Jaylen wasn't missed in this game because the Celts still won even without Jaylen Brown.
You couldn't be more wrong. It wasn't pretty or easy ... we could have used either Brown or Hayward ... maybe both!
Agree! But fact remains, Celts still won even without both Hayward and Brown. Kyrie's the man! Tatum's the 2nd man! And Morris and Smart were the MVPs of tonight's game.

Came here saying the cs where losing because of JB and rozier and now is hiding behind my opinions. Speak about weasiling out. I never said Celts were losing because of JB and Rozier. You can't fool the posters here, chris. you surely implied it. You said DA was gonna do something because there werent enough minutes for all of them hence reason we were losing. Admit it

This is the same guy that told the board Danny was scouting Fultz and Fultz was the man.
Now Fultz looks like a bust and he's singing the praises of Tatum whom he never lobbied for pre draft. And he praises him dispite his short comings at the expense of Brown, a player who sat most of his first 1-1.5 seasons.
If you came here today you'd think Fierce had advocated for Tatum ... Sadly, he didn't.

Did it surprise you after watching lebron year after year knock us out? Really?? Kyrie would have made zero difference

Why else would Danny keep Yabu if he was not going to make a move? Danny guaranteed Yabu's contract for next season. Doing that means the Celts will pay more tax. So why keep Yabu when they had an opportunity to shed some tax money? Clearly Ainge is going to make a move. Just be patient.

When thinking about a trade for AD and the C's financial position going forward, Chris isn't the only one to advocate a trade using Irving ... you'll find that idea all over Celtic blogs.

Come on, you had the Celts trading the #1 pick for the #5 and #10 pick of the Kings. You wanted Jonathan Isaac and Donovan Mitchell. It's true that I wanted Fultz at #1. But when Ainge traded the #1 for the #3 pick, I said it was going to be Jayson Tatum. You can check the posts of June 2017.

If you don't believe me then read. Here: Despite rough start, Celtics’ Jaylen Brown is convinced he’s an NBA startersports.yahoo.com/despite-rough-start-celtics-jaylen-171738191.htmlThis regular season Brown and the Celtics have not been the same. With the return of Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward Brown’s role shrunk, he’s playing five fewer minutes a game, his scoring is down to 12.5 points per game, he’s shooting less than 30 percent from three (when he was close to 40 percent a year ago), his PER is down to 11.1 (well below the league average), and the Celtics’ offense is 8.2 points per 100 possessions worse when he is on the court. Brown has been pushed back to a bench role, with Marcus Smart starting.
Mostly, Brown is just frustrated.

Yes, Tatum was not the 2nd best player on the Cs tonight.
But he will be the #2 guy before the season is over.
Jayson Tatum is like a combination of Paul Pierce and Kobe Bryant.

Clearly Jaylen Brown is an unhappy camper. sports.yahoo.com/despite-rough-start-celtics-jaylen-171738191.htmlBrown said he remains convinced he’s a starter in this league, and on this team, and will prove it.Celts are at their best when Smart and Kyrie are the starters. Sooner or later Brown will ask for a trade. And Brown's point is valid, he's a starter in the NBA, just not with the Celts.

ah geez...I like all the players, except Rozier as a backup, which aint going to happen...good luck to him, he will get rich in Idaho or Calcutta, whatever...Brown could very well retire as a legend...

admin It was only against NY that Brown had a significant impact on the game. Most of Brown's points against the Bulls and Pels were in garbage time. Here: www.espn.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/3917376/jaylen-brownCheck out the game logs. Most of Brown's points came when the outcome was already decided against the Bulls and Pels.

Fierce ... what you say is your opinion not a fact. Tatum could regress or another player Brown or Williams for instance become more critical to the C's playoff success.
Stop knocking other players until they've failed and are moved because of failure rather than value needed to make a trade happen. You were no doubt one dissing Brown's shooting and the numbers from last season proved you to be wrong. It's too early this season but he's back on track lately so you better hold your tongue until proven correct.

3 games doesn't solve Brown's problems. I'm not the only one saying Tatum is a star. All the Celtic announcers, Tommy, Mike, and Scal are saying it. I'm not saying Brown is a failure, what I'm saying is choose between Brown and Hayward. Both can't coexist. Some of the posters here also agree with me on that. It has nothing to do with Brown's talents. I wouldn't mind if the Celts trade Hayward instead of Brown. But we all know that's not happening. So it's going to be Brown. Best case scenario is the Celts package Brown for Anthony Davis. But if the Pels want Tatum for Anthony Davis, I also wouldn't object. Keep Brown and let Tatum go to get Anthony Davis is fine with me.

Brad said Brown helped seal the win with his scoring in the 4th to help put them away for good!
