I'm underwhelmed, but crossing my fingers:
No. 23: OL Isaiah Wynn (Georgia) No. 31: RB Sony Michel (Georgia) No. 56: DB Duke Dawson (Florida)
I think all 3 top picks will be good players
No. 143: LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (Purdue) No. 178: LB Christian Sam (Arizona State)
Seem like situational guys who can help.
No. 210: WR Braxton Berrios (Miami)
He's a PR and slot receiver. We can hope he's the next Welker/JE, but he could be squanto. Nice try and could be the steal of this draft for them. Chris Price called him Mini-Minitron.
No. 219: QB Danny Etling (LSU).
Welp he started in the SEC last year. If he's Cassell 2.0 that's okay, but not what I wanted in this draft. He's very unlikely to be the "next guy". I bet he can't even crack Hoyer.
Izzo
Maybe a guy who can help some. Even if it's just relieving Gronk.... If he's just Hooman is that bad?
Trading into 2019 doesn't help this year, but they got great value and capitol in 2019. They can make any number of moves up ...or make some deals this year.

I wonder if Bill didn't trade himself out of a few potential QBs like Kyle Lauletta (#108) & Mike White (#171) ... if that was the case then clearly he wasn't enamored with any of them as he was with Garappolo. Maybe lightning will strike twice and Etling will surprise us like Brady did but I'm not expecting it to strike twice in the same place.
