nesn.com/2016/06/kris-dunn-shoots-down-rumor-about-not-wanting-to-be-drafted-by-celtics/Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported last month that Dunn’s camp was trying to push the Celtics and Phoenix Suns — owners of the No. 3 and No. 4 picks in next week’s NBA draft — away from selecting the Providence point guard because both teams already have young, established backcourts. Dunn shot down the report Thursday in a phone interview with The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach and actually sounds very open to the possibility of playing for the C’s. “I mean it would be unbelievable to be selected by the Celtics,” Dunn told Himmelsbach. “My dream is just to get drafted, and that I have a chance to be a top-five player, it’s a blessing.”
“I think that’s just a rumor going around,” Dunn said of Wojnarowski’s report. “That never came out of my mouth, that I didn’t want to play for any team.”

During a phone interview Thursday morning, Dunn stressed the desire to showcase his skills against other top players, but did not rule out undergoing an individual workout as the draft draws closer. Earlier this week, ESPN's Chad Ford reported that Dunn has yet to work out for any specific teams and is "refusing" to do 1-on-0 workouts for clubs.
"Me and my agent are just trying to figure out what we should do with the workouts," Dunn told MassLive.com. "We still have enough time to work out for teams. Really we're just trying to open up requests to other players to see who will come work out against me because I'm trying to show I can play both ends of the floor. Because I'm a competitor. But it's been really fun so far. The process, I've been enjoying it."
"I'm open to anything," said Dunn. "I don't think that's true that I don't want to work out 1-on-0. Like I said, I just want to show off my competitive nature. I definitely don't have a problem working out with Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram, or any top prospects, because I want to show teams I'm ready to go against anybody. And it'd be cool to play against top-five or top-10 guys because I just want to show off my competitive nature, and I didn't get to play against those guys in college because I was in the Big East and they're in different conferences. So I'm just open to anything right now."

hmm...this guy looks pretty spectacular but, we have so many guards.. I think if we take Dunn it's pretty much a lock we will be trading him or some combination of players that includes 2-3 of Amir, Bradley, Jerebko or Young Rozier if we are to keep him which I doubt. Dunn was foolish to lock the C's out as he's assured top $ at #3 and probably ends up in Philly or another team other than the C's ... Jackie, Max and Skal believe that if Butler doesn't work out that the 2nd best option is Okafor ... none of them want Cousins!

www.masslive.com/celtics/index.ssf/2016/06/2016_nba_draft_news_kris_dunn.htmlBut, if you really read his comments............IS he "open to anything?" He mentions twice in one sentence that he'd like to go against Ingram or Simmons, or any other top 5 or top 10 guys. I guess I'm reading it differently than you guys. Sounds to me like he WON'T work out 1-0........

Sounds to me like he WON'T work out 1-0........ True as it is deceptive to say you'd like to workout against other top 5-10 players when there's only 1 week until the draft and most have already had workouts if they are gonna do so. He'd have to be willing to workout against whoever each team has in on the remaining days teams have scheduled WO's and he is available otherwise concede to a one vs chair or shut up. No top 5 players are gonna revisit teams now or for the 1st time to accommodate him!
