Welp... This game was over in the 1st 5 minutes of the game. C's did what they were supposed to do. Strong win, on to the next.

Monroe needs 1 rbd for a Double-Double All is quiet with i hate Monroe folks. The Rozier ones also. My question is how Smart got the last shot again. Looks like a repeat of the last two years at playoff time to me. Brad is FOS.

Yeah, the last two minutes of that Houston game were brutal to watch...bad passes, Smart taking the last shot?...only good thing was that Kyrie cant miss even when he tries to...

Solid performance against a terri-Bull team!!
Liked starting Larkin. Brad doesn't want to mess with the bench. Rozier, Smart, Morris, Theis and Monroe. Very solid bench. Game was never in doubt, bordering on boring!!
Still behind TOR, though........I'll say again, that team is flying under the radar. They are really, really good!

Toronto has been eating pudding for a long time schedule-wise. They're about to go through a stretch worse than any of ours. A lot of games in very short days. Really tough.
I'm guessing they had hoped to open more distance between the c's and themselves. Two games is not enough when you look at the schedules. They have b2b, day off, game, b2b kind of games packed in and the opponents are good.
Last year I predicted a drop and we got one way beyond expectation. If we ever get to even, they will give up and rest for a while.

even now looking at their recent scores, they're starting to wear down

I like your analysis Cole all correct .
Here's are my thoughts.
TOR. Yes they may rest during the regular season. Smart move.
We are always tired at playoff time.
You expect them to roll over playoff time also? I don't

Kinda scary to think that, once again, this team performs so good without our starting PG. As much as I like Kyrie (and I really like and love his skills/craftiness), I am getting the eerie feeling that a PG that holds the ball so much can be counter productive to other areas of the game within a team. Now, I am not making any case against Kyrie, I just feel that this is not the first time we see such trend, the likes of IT or even Rondo, we knew how special those two were in their own space and skillset but we also got to know how affected our offense became. Please note that before I get flamed by this comment, know that I really like Kyrie (and I did appreciate Rondo's special moments and same with IT). Also note that I like to be very realistic towards things. Also know that I have always expressed my opinions when it comes to the importance of a PG on a team. Now, we have to also look at leadership because Kyrie, Rondo, IT (we can name more) ran plays according to the coach. Just a debatable topic in my opinion. Or, pure coincidence? Anyways, not trying to diminish the skills of these guys or bring hate on board. Just an observation. Cheers.

And, it appears almost an enigma we did so well w/e our star player. How about not playing our 2nd star player...Ha ! I give him 1/2 a star. Performances are erratic. Maybe without Irving, we don't have a player they can concentrate on ? How about we start the same 5 and bring in Irving as a 6th man but play more minutes than a normal 6th man. Dunno ?
