He made 8.5 mil last year but will probably be looking for at least 50 to 60 mil for 4years. He's a good scorer but a poor rebounder and gets very few assists average defender at best. No thanks .

Your happy with Anderson being our starting PW for the next few years? You then need to be happy with another one and done next year. Yea Stevens done a great job with our three point shooters in the playoffs. regular season to. Worst % in the league last year i believe. Stevens doesn't develop three point shooters would be a more accurate description. Dudley and Anderson have been in the league for years what ya see it what ya get.

Sully is probably gone and 6 rebounds don't get it for a PF. Plays little defense and makes a fine bench player. that's it.The Hawks played their worst basketball all season during the playoffs. Horford was almost a non factor we should have beat them regardless. We were exposed for what we are nothing much. Anderson gets us just another meh player which we have plenty of.

I'd like Anderson, if he comes with another player....like Horford or Barnes.

anderson is an ok option, assuming sully is gone. my big worry is that he gets banged up a lot, that is a lot of money to spend on an injury prone guy...

I'd like Anderson, if he comes with another player....like Horford or Barnes. If you go with Anderson you need a very good defensive center to rebound and protect the rim cuz he won't be doing much of that.

Deveney has his top three Celtic FA's in this order;
Horford
Batum
Anderson
For centers he had Howard, Ezeli & Biyombo on his radar but agreed that none were the perfect fit and all would be overpaid with Howard on the downside of his career. He also mentioned Mahinmi and Pachulia as possibilities. Pachulia isn't a shot blocker but he anchors the paint and makes the team better with his strong interior play and rebounding. The type of big that causes opponents to change adjust their shots and intimidates them in the lane.
Of the bunch I could live with Pachulia.
As far as Noah is concerned, I'd think Thibs would have the inside track on him for Minny.
After considering the options at center it makes more and more sense to work a deal for Noel.
Get Noel and Batum or Anderson and we have something to build upon with IT.
Barnes was discussed but the feeling around the Warriors is that he hasn't gotten any better the last few years, isn't a hard worker and hasn't added one thing to his game (better handle, passing, post-up skills, etc) ... Deveney said he could be another Green and he didn't mean Draymond!

I've had that same feeling but i convinced myself i was crazy. Now i feel ill despite the fact he probably would help the team.

Batum would be awesome. Not sure he'll leave CHA, but Batum or Barnes should be our SF focus.

Batum would be nice, but I am hearing he is already planning on resigning asap with Charlotte so he can go play for France in the Olympics this summer. Anderson is one dimensional and often hurt, I would much rather focus on trading for Noel or preferably Okafor. I am becoming very concerned that if the Cavs keep getting dismantled Lebron will look to move Love this off season. I feel like DA still has a big stiffy for Love, and that concerns me as I think he is soft beyond words and would hate to see him in green.

Batum has said he wants to resign in Charlotte and they want him according to all accounts. Anderson logs about 60 games or so a year. I'm concerned to over Love and Horford. Both are soft and Ainge needs to shy away.

I would love to, but I don't really have the time at the moment. Also, my computer will not let me fast forward to that part.....lol. So, please, sir, just tell me what he says!! I'd owe you.

Comparing Barnes to Jeff Green kinda says it all. When are folks gonna realize we don't need bit players like Barnes and Anderson. We have a full team of them already. We need top tier FAs or develop through draft. Two choices playing meh ball again next year isn't cool.

I started thinking that after reading Howard's interview with JackieM on ESPN. Later on, she softly suggested Howard in on of the csnne video clips discussing potential free agent targets. Howard wants a bigger role in offense and the Cs can provide that. I really don't see a contender available to Howard any more. The C's provide him a featured role. Also, if Adam Silver is able to contain hack-a-shaq next year, Howard becomes even more valuable. An engaged Howard is still pretty good. I just saw him against Golden State during the playoffs. The Rockets were a mess but Howard was quite a defensive presence. Couple that with Celtics perimeter defense and you get a good thing going. Sign Howard this year, keep the draft pick and look for another max free agent next year. I will be OK with that plan.
