By Stephen Harris Matthew WestHelp is coming in nets for the Bruins. After getting some shaky play from rookie netminders Malcolm Subban and Zach McIntyre in back-to-back losses Tuesday and Wednesday, starter Tuukka Rask, out for a week with a suspected nagging hamstring strain, returned to practice today. Rask looked and felt pretty good and will travel with the team to Detroit today with a chance he could play against the Red Wings tomorrow night. If he's not quite ready, it's a safe bet he'd face the Panthers and Lightning next week in Florida. Rask faced plenty of shots during the end-to-end drills, but seemed to an uneducated eye to be working mostly on his hands and on making smooth side-to-side moves — without a lot of sudden, aggressive pushes. But afterwards he said he felt fine. "It's good enough that I feel comfortable skating and being out there," said Rask. "That's a good sign. It's very difficult to be 100 percent without taking a month or two off with these kind of things. That's not a real possibility. But I feel good enough and comfortable to be out there. I expect to feel 100 percent at some point. You obviously want to play, but you don't want to force it and be out for two months. That's really the toughest thing for us to decide. But it feels good now." Forward David Backes, who underwent minor elbow surgery Monday, is not going to Detroit, but will join the team for one of the games in Florida. The concern with his injury is avoiding infection. www.bostonherald.com/sports/bruins/bruins_insider/2016/10/tuukka_rask_returns_to_practice_may_play_in_detroit

Hope he is 100% because he will have to stand on his head for Bruins to win.
