I think we have a couple posters who only show up when we lose. Especially if Tatum has a bad game. I would invite them to Thanksgiving dinner, but I don't want to! Some of us are more "rosy outlook" than others. I consider myself prob more of a pom-pom cheerleader than a hater, personally for whatever reason. Prob cuz im not a championship or bust guy. I can still enjoy a good team that doesnt win it all. But whatever, some ppl lean more towards the skeptic, critical side and its fine. I dont have a problem with it, even if I will be there to state my reasons why I remain optimistic and disagree w post x , which I may find to be overly critical. But its fine. My only thing is I dont want anyone to lock themselves out because if we win, we should all be happy and celebrating together. For example: Maybe poster X really hates poster Y. And Poster Y is very high on the team because he really likes certin players. SO maybe poster X almosts starts rooting against the players that Poster Y loves because they dont like Poster X. Or maybe they root against (or just overly critically judge those players without actually rooting against them) players for another reason. And my thing is : just dont lock yourself out. For your own sake. So lets say someone despises me and I really love DWhite. They root against Dwhite partly because they dont like me. And maybe Im positive/high on the team. And maybe that poster who hates my guts likes to disagree with me and so they start saying stuff like I overrate the team. ANd that Im not critical enough. Or whatever. Its all fine. But what do those Celtics fans do when the team is winning and what if they win it all. Most likely - that poster who hates me will be happy in the end. But along the way they may be like "this team is not nearly as good as you think". And then if we win, it may be bittersweet because yes there team won, but they were critical and negative towards the team along the way, and they may miss out on some of the joy. "Yeah, the Celtics are my team, and Im glad they won...But this annoying stranger who ive never met but is on this internet forum I also post in....He goes by Drewski and he can be so annoying and all year Ive argued w him that this team isnt as good as he thinks it is. So Im happy that we won, but Im also a little put-off that he gets this vindication now that we've won" And what Im trying to get at is the poster in my above scenario is only spiting themselves. They are taking away from their own joy, maybe not completely, but somewhat. And thats what I dont want to see happen. Because if we win this year, we should all be high-fives and hugs. Those grudges should be (at least temporarily) burried as we all celebrate together. Well, bottom line is that I root for the guys in green...one day I might be pissed at one guy, or stoked on another...call me a fan...or a 'fanatic'...whatever...one thing I know is that I am right!....lol...

Where are all the people who were ready to name Hauser the next Jamal Crawford today?? He is a good weapon off the bench WHEN he is hitting his shots. As I've said repeatedly. I hope he is great every game, but if he's not hitting his shots, he's basically useless. I'm calling him Dr Jekyl/Mr. Hyde now. Last night? Mr. Hyde!! Missed the game completely.... guess I overslept or something.... maybe just plain bored.
Why not call him Dr Jekyll/Mr. Hauser?

We once had a poster who completely disappeared when one of our guys won the DPOY award.... and he never brought himself to acknowledge that award either.
Never to this day!

Hauser has been pretty steady. Had a bad game as a starter. Perhaps this is an indication that Whites is more valuable than any other celtic. He has been the most consistent guy, plays D and can get others involved.

Jayson Tatum non covid illness, questionable! That would put our chances of winning at slim and none!

Tatum gathered his five teammates in a room at the team’s practice facility — without any coaches, or anyone else. He wanted to address the obvious elephant in the room. “I wanted us to get in the room and talk about it,” Tatum told ESPN. “We all are human and have feelings, and I opened the floor and basically said, ‘There’s six of us. Only five can play at one time. One of us is not going to finish the game all the time. “Whether it’s fair or not, me and JB are probably going to always start, and always finish the game. But we have to be held to a different standard and be able to be coached differently. Whether it’s KP and Al, one of you guys may not finish a game, and you have to be OK with that.” – via Tim Bontemps @ ESPN Al Horford, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, Boston Celtics
No one inside that room believes the player meeting is the sole reason for their torrid start. But everyone involved does believe it will pay dividends beyond the clarity of purpose it provided in the early going: It should, they believe, help the team do what it has failed to do throughout the Jayson Tatum Era: raise Banner 18 to the TD Garden rafters. “I think, honestly, it was a very important moment for us,” Porzingis told ESPN. “Just to kind of look each other in the eye, and know that we’re here for one job, and to understand that we’re all going to be willing to make some sacrifices. – via Tim Bontemps @ ESPN Al Horford, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, Boston Celtics
“He’s taken a lot of accountability,” Horford said. “I feel like it’s been a progression with him, and it’s been good to see him just continue to take steps as a leader, time after time. He doesn’t have to be the guy that’s going to be out there talking the whole time, but his presence is felt. I feel like he is leading us more as a group. “I feel like now he’s starting to see the bigger picture.” – via Tim Bontemps @ ESPN Al Horford, Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics
That was only five years ago. Two seasons ago, he was 40th in post-up efficiency among the 43 players in the league who had 100 post-ups, per Synergy Sports. He currently ranks second in the league for the second straight year even though he’s more than doubled the number of post-ups per game, trailing only his teammate Kristaps Porziņģis. Joe Mazzulla wanted to play through the post more this year, and Tatum is leading that charge. – via Jared Weiss @ The Athletic Joe Mazzulla, Jayson Tatum, Kristaps Porzingis, Boston Celtics

Shooting is why Hauser gets his minutes, certainly. And its his best asset , no question. But he does do little things. I rarely see him overhelp, for example. He plays within himself and seems to know his limits. He also has some length for disrupting opposing shooters and rebounding. Take away the shooting, hes not an NBA player. Not saying otherwise. But I wouldnt go as far as to say he's piss poor at everything else.
