We got what we deserved tonight! Hauser came crashing back to earth. Jrue continued his Marcus Smart impersonation. Brown one of the lowest basketball IQ's I've ever seen. Free throws came back to haunt us tonight! Bring on the Bucks!

Cal Burk don't accept students with low IQ.. You know that I know also i applied and was turned down. Brown isn't 100%.... We'll still pull off 70 wins easily Brown needs to try for defensive mvp Yeah but i don't think any MVP is a priority for him.. He and Zinger are working out this team thing. Give them a few games if health prevails .

Where are all the people who were ready to name Hauser the next Jamal Crawford today??
He is a good weapon off the bench WHEN he is hitting his shots. As I've said repeatedly. I hope he is great every game, but if he's not hitting his shots, he's basically useless. I'm calling him Dr Jekyl/Mr. Hyde now. Last night? Mr. Hyde!!

Two overtime losses this year, both White-less losses. Coincidence?

You Usually lose when only 1 starter has a good game, and that's exactly what happened last night. Not having Al or White didn't help matters, either. Guess what though, no NBA team has ever gone undefeated. As I said on another thread, last night was the trap game of all trap games! That one's over, bring on the Bucks!!

BTW, who was the idiot here who said that Poringus is not skinny?..I could go back and look it up, but you know who you are...Jeez, he looks like a praying mantis...an accident waiting to happen... It was me, and I said I disagreed with your assertion that he was "pencil thin" but agreed w everything else you said. But way to come in hot and misrepresenting.

I think we have a couple posters who only show up when we lose. Especially if Tatum has a bad game. I would invite them to Thanksgiving dinner, but I don't want to!

Lately it's just been you and Evis Cabby and myself posting. Plus Boss and and the moderators Cole and Pud mostly Cole. I have well over 10.000 posts counting my many alias's Don't think we lost 10.000 games or Tatum has had 10.000 poor games.. The season is too long and football is in high gear the posts will pick up after the second half of the season. Besides that. I feal like shit most days... Thanks for the non invite but i don't eat Turkey too many growth hormones in the feed...Country Ham in Va. We feed the hogs pure corn and table scraps left over potato and fruit peelings. Sometimes smart ass wipes like you . Thanksgiving is just one big lie anyhow that the yanks made up after they slaughtered the natives and stole their food... As it turns out i was right.. Miss one of 5 and its a game even against the inferior Hornets.....

Bobby Portis smiled and couldn’t wait for the rest of the question to be asked as his Little Rock, Arkansas, accent was holding onto the last syllable. “Awkwarrrdd,” he said with a slight laugh when the topic of seeing Jrue Holiday in Boston was broached. He looked down and adjusted his shoes under a row of chairs in Toronto. “Awkwarrrdd.” Khris Middleton smiled as he picked up the remaining items in his locker in Charlotte. “Yes, you can say weird,” he said. “Yes. It’s going to be weird.” – via Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Top Rumors, Bobby Portis, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks
Seeing him in Boston had been discussed among that group long before they arrived in Boston on Tuesday. They all have had to work through it – and to some degree, still are. “It’s more personal,” Middleton acknowledged. “Just ‘cause how he was with everybody on and off the court. He was a guy that was a good friend to a lot of people. A brother in so many ways to different people. So to see him on the other side is definitely going to be weird.” – via Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks
Portis had seen Holiday the day before the trade, but was filming a commercial when he heard. “It was just like, damn, you’re kind of hurt at first,” he admitted. “Like, damn, big brother…He hits me up all the time, checks on me and things like that. S—, times go on I guess.” – via Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks

I think we have a couple posters who only show up when we lose. Especially if Tatum has a bad game. I would invite them to Thanksgiving dinner, but I don't want to! Some of us are more "rosy outlook" than others. I consider myself prob more of a pom-pom cheerleader than a hater, personally for whatever reason. Prob cuz im not a championship or bust guy. I can still enjoy a good team that doesnt win it all. But whatever, some ppl lean more towards the skeptic, critical side and its fine. I dont have a problem with it, even if I will be there to state my reasons why I remain optimistic and disagree w post x , which I may find to be overly critical. But its fine. My only thing is I dont want anyone to lock themselves out because if we win, we should all be happy and celebrating together. For example: Maybe poster X really hates poster Y. And Poster Y is very high on the team because he really likes certin players. SO maybe poster X almosts starts rooting against the players that Poster Y loves because they dont like Poster X. Or maybe they root against (or just overly critically judge those players without actually rooting against them) players for another reason. And my thing is : just dont lock yourself out. For your own sake. So lets say someone despises me and I really love DWhite. They root against Dwhite partly because they dont like me. And maybe Im positive/high on the team. And maybe that poster who hates my guts likes to disagree with me and so they start saying stuff like I overrate the team. ANd that Im not critical enough. Or whatever. Its all fine. But what do those Celtics fans do when the team is winning and what if they win it all. Most likely - that poster who hates me will be happy in the end. But along the way they may be like "this team is not nearly as good as you think". And then if we win, it may be bittersweet because yes there team won, but they were critical and negative towards the team along the way, and they may miss out on some of the joy. "Yeah, the Celtics are my team, and Im glad they won...But this annoying stranger who ive never met but is on this internet forum I also post in....He goes by Drewski and he can be so annoying and all year Ive argued w him that this team isnt as good as he thinks it is. So Im happy that we won, but Im also a little put-off that he gets this vindication now that we've won" And what Im trying to get at is the poster in my above scenario is only spiting themselves. They are taking away from their own joy, maybe not completely, but somewhat. And thats what I dont want to see happen. Because if we win this year, we should all be high-fives and hugs. Those grudges should be (at least temporarily) burried as we all celebrate together.

But why? Are any of these answers correct if not i have more..... Does Silver funnel dark monies to teams that look good on TV.? Does looking good on TV raise more revenue for WYC and Boston?. Does looking good on TV rake in new fans in large numbers? Does looking good on TV boost the teams moral ?

I think they believed they could coast to a win last night and it cost them. In no way do I believe they tried in that game like they will tomorrow night. at least I hope we try a lot harder tomorrow. even last year in our worst stretches we won a lot of the big tv games. It was the little games we would blow off not a conspiracy just human nature.
