Rwill is getting hunted relentlessly. I dont see how Turner would improve that. Any "true" C can and will get hunted. Gotta be able to do more on defense than just retreat to the basket and use your length. Offenses are too crafty. They'll draw you out, switch you onto a driver.... If I was to make any move - it would be RWill going out for a player more like Horford. True C out, defensive versatility in. Thats where Im at. RWill is totally a dynamic player...great vision, passing, energetic, makes everyone around hijm better...keep ragging on him all you want, I think you are so totally wrong...

CAN WE STOP WITH THE "TRADE JAYLEN" TALK, PLEASE? He's a 2nd team ALL NBA player and he's TWENTY-SIX YEARS OLD. What genius GM would remotely consider such a thing? How can you honestly think the best strategy would be to trade him? Who does that? Hey, how about we FIRST look to acquire a true leader at the PG position? Then SECOND, how about we look to acquire a legitimate, vocal locker room veteran who can be that alpha male with the experience to help Jaylen get to the next level (and Tatum)? THAT IS NOT AL HORFORD! THAT IS NOT MARCUS SMART! Brown (and Tatum) have the talent to be consistently elite in the regular season AND in the playoffs. For me, they lack the mental toughness (more so Tatum than Brown). If they had Jimmy Butler's mentality, they'd be 2 levels above where they are now. All the Celtics need to do is recognize the areas in which they both are lacking and do something about it. We can no longer continue thinking Brown and Tatum will "simply grow up" and develop a championship mentality when they don't have that player to visualize what it takes to be that! This season is an example of that. From a talent perspective, they both have been amazing this year. But from a mental toughness perspective, their mentality is seriously lacking. I hear ya, but do you have $613 million?...

This is a major reason I hate Mazulla. He is statistically the 2nd best 3 and D performer in playoff history. Better than Rick Fox and Robert Horry statistically! Crazy statistic...What I do know is that both Ime and Mazz don't play thier bench... Mazz never ever played in the NBA and disrespects his bench...crap, he never even sat on the bench...

And perhaps one can question why he is not a starter. He wouldn't last the whole season probably

I wondered when we would start reading about the injuries have been saying for a long while the team will need everyone depending on matchups. we saw Grant contribute in a big way, and need to see more Hauser. perhaps with this Brog injury, most likely PP as well. Mazz needs to do a better job with the bench. if we ever get there, may need some minutes from Blake in the finals

Malcolm Brogdon has been playing through a partial tear in the tendon coming out of his right elbow that leads into his forearm, team sources told The Athletic. Brogdon suffered the injury in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, according to the sources, who were granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the record. The Celtics guard was initially dealing with golfer’s elbow soreness during the second-round series against Philadelphia, but an MRI after Game 1 against the Heat determined he exacerbated the injury by tearing the tendon in boxing out Miami Heat big Kevin Love midway through the first quarter. – via Jared Weiss @ The Athletic Top Rumors, Injuries, Malcolm Brogdon, Boston Celtics
After making 44.4 percent from 3 in the regular season, Brogdon is 3 of 14 from deep in the first four games of the conference finals and has resorted to driving the ball more and curtailing his pregame warmup routine to mitigate the significant soreness in his wrist and arm caused by shooting. Brogdon, 30, intends to continue playing through the injury as the Celtics attempt to come back from an 0-3 deficit after winning Game 4 116-99 on Tuesday. He is expected to evaluate whether he will need surgery after the season, according to team sources. – via Jared Weiss @ The Athletic Injuries, Malcolm Brogdon, Boston Celtics

I wondered when we would start reading about the injuries Same. HAHAHA Every year once the season is lost, its immediately "OMG, this guy was playing injured!" ANd my point isnt that its BS or spin-zone (which it sometimes, but not always, is). Just kind of funny how predictable it is. All sports In our case, they might have jumped the gun on what Ive bolded

RWill is totally a dynamic player...great vision, passing, energetic, makes everyone around hijm better...keep ragging on him all you want, I think you are so totally wrong... Dynamic and energetic are redundant. But he is that. RWill is 13th in assists among Centers this postseason, averaging one per game. During the regular season, he was tied for 20th among Centers (1.4/game). 27th among centers in assists/game per 48 minutes (taking away the playing time variable). Among all NBA players, he was 146th in assists per 48 minutes. Hes not a passer because hes not a part of our offense. Hes a safety valve if the offseason breaks down. And theres value in that. When hes out there, you have 4 guys participating in the offensive scheme. However, if the offensive scheme results in a miss, you have a 15% chance of him getting the rebound for a second chance. Theres value in that. But not every offensive set that fails results in a miss. Theres also turnovers. And those go up when you play 4 vs 5 which we do when RWill is out there. He has the second worst +/- on the team this series (only Brown is worse) and theres a big gap between RWill and #3 (Horford). The Celtics have been much better this series when theyve gone small.

What is true.
Embidd played on one leg and the didn't cry after the loss.
What else is true.. If Embidd had been healthy we would have lost in the second round..
Being 100% honest here.. Try it some time.

Try it some time. As they say everyone has injuries. Or maybe if embiid plays game one they don't hit all those threes. You never know.

And if Giannis wasn't hurt, maybe the Bucks beat the Heat.
And if Jimmy Butler could shoot 3's, maybe we lose Game 7 last year.
And if a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his booty..................

Thanks for making my point...and... If Brown didn't have a bleeding hand and a hurt arm he wouldn't be shooting 10% from the three.. If's don't count your right..... Drew said it best.. The spin zone...

nah. c'mon. every team is injured. it can be argued the C's have lost 2 championships due to injury over the past 2 decades. no belly aching allowed. obtain and develop a bench in case of injury play on

One star turned bum is out lets also not forget Herro has not played at all Yeah but he has always been a C's killer - a known commodity (and also a player to attack because of his non-existent defense), while Gabe and Caleb had been nobodies... until they turned out to be can't miss superstars.
