What was our purpose acquiring Griffin? He played some important minutes through the season. He was never expected to play in the playoffs unless horford went down

Brogdon with 2 points? W....T....F?!?!?!?!?
That's why for Game 5 Grant s/b first one off the bench ... he got 29 mins tonight and deserves 35 Thurs.
Let Brog relieve White or Smart ...

The heat shot 10 more free throws. 28-18.
Where would a guy look to see points in the paint?

If we blow this lead I may hurt my dog or maybe boil the goldfish. We may not do a 3-0 comeback as did the but i want this game badly. Teach the b-stards a little humility. Effing A!...Butler needs an education!...

Just ignore the no team has ever come back from 0-3 nonsense.
A certain Boston team has done it afaik.
Win Game 5, it's very doable, and suddenly we're down only 3-2. Exactly the situation we have been 2 weeks ago against Phila! Exactly the situation we have been a year ago against the Bucks.
If anything is possible, this now looks very probable.

Are they teasing us?
Loved last night's game, but don't want to get too excited............yet.
If it gets to 7 I'll be out of my mind!!
If we played like that, it should be 3-1 the other way.
Why do they do this to me??

If Brown were to be traded, ESPN insider Zach Lowe believes there would be “robust demand” for his services. “There would be robust demand for Jaylen Brown from a lot of teams if Boston ever actually started making or listening or picking up the phone or whatever you do with your phone when you maybe investigate a trade,” says Lowe. – via Quenton Albertie @ Clutch Points Top Rumors, Trade, Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics
In a world where Boston decides to move on, sending him, Horford, and Payton Pritchard to the Clippers for Paul George and a first-round pick makes some sense for both sides. (Boston would be wise to ask about Leonard first.) A similar package to the Blazers for Damian Lillard seems less likely for a variety of reasons, but is something Boston should explore. – via Michael Pina @ The Ringer Damian Lillard, Jaylen Brown, Paul George, Payton Pritchard, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers

just remember, even if the C's get blown out in game 5, Mazz never pointed fingers, never placed blame on anyone other than himself. he completely removed the pressure, fans ire, media spotlight off JB, SMart, Tatum and Al. the C's will never win out if it was dependent on Mazz coaching them to win every game. the players need to win the games. hopefully Mazz getting all the heat allows the players to confidently step up and play their game

George can't stay on the court due to injuries. Dame is amazing but is at the tail end of his prime. There is one and only one player I'd ever trade Brown for and that is D Booker, the purest shooting guard in the game today. Outside of that, I ain't thinking of trading him. People tend to look at Tatum and Brown alone but fail to look at what's around them. They have never had a true PG facilitating the offense for 2 consecutive seasons EVER! If the Celtics ever had a true core PG, no telling how great they would be. Honestly, years ago, I thought Rozier would be that PG of our future (after that amazing playoff push with those 3). Imagine where the Celtics would be if Tatum, Brown and Rozier were allowed to develop as a trio AND THEN surround them with the other pieces. Instead of thinking of trading Tatum and Brown, it might be best to offer up someone else to get a solid PG who could command our offense.
