Does it really matter if it's Batman and Robin or Robin and Batman? One can be Batman in Game 1, and one can be Batman in Game 2. We are LUCKY Ainge is such a great evaluator of talent................. Brown had better statistics in everything but assists this year, including PER, over Ingram. AND Jaylen defends. Grant is Batman! Tatum and Brown are The Lone Ranger and Tonto!!

Booker is borderline in my opinion as much as I like him as much as JB ... Just as you don't think JB is ALL-NBA material, I wonder why Booker is and JB isn't. I never said JB is not All-NBA material. What I said was JB has not yet made an All-NBA team. Booker is the highest paid player on the Suns roster. He's getting 30m+ per year. And he's a 3-time All-Star. NBA teams don't pay players 30m+ per year if that player is not a superstar. In your opinion Booker is borderline, right? But you can never say Booker is not a superstar. What I asked you was give me a name that made 1st team that's not a superstar.

1st team All-NBA 3-time All-Star 6th in MVP voting in 2022
And got a 5-year max extension of 195m dollars.
The Celtic front office is not stupid.
If JT is not a superstar, they would not give him that max extension.

I'm just going to enjoy the ride with the two GREAT players Ainge drafted - Brown and Tatum The two GOOD players he drafted - Smart and RWill The two IMPROVING players he drafted - GWill and PP The FA he brought us from Germany, and Brad brought back - Theis
Horford is tough because he came here of his own volition under Ainge, left under Ainge, was miserable under Ainge and was brought back by Stevens.
Ainge gets ZERO credit for White, as a matter of fact, I doubt he would make that trade at all if he had to attach a FRP.
Anyway, back to the ride. We beat them twice in their own building, and now we have to close out at home. I think Celtics-Warriors is going to be a classic Finals

And was DeAndre Jordan a "Superstar" in 2016 ... honestly I don't remember and his stats aside from rebounds weren't that impressive tho I did forget to check out his "blocks" but since when is a defensive stalwart (lacking in offensive #s) a "SUperstar?"

we are lucky to have them both. And we are lucky to have them both finally in the same page. That second statement I atribute to Ime. Imagine this team next year healthy. Kinda scary. They have been together for a while including Horford. Yet do we dare roll into next year with rwill, al, and theis? Replace Theis. We need a younger stud that can come of the bench and create a thread headed monster at center. They can all average about 24 minutes a game.

What about Al?
Do we:
1) Waive or Trade him for a 3rd scorer or younger Big
2) Keep him and pay the salary - after all, he's earned it especially if we hang #18
3) Work out an Extension for another year or two at a figure that works for him and the team ... He could be that old vet on the bench like the Heat have that when not on the court coaches and encourages his teammates.

2 or 3 works for me! Al's in great shape, stretch him for 3 years if he'll go for it!

#3. I say this because with no FRP, I don't see any way to replace him at the moment. Give him a new, three year deal, not max. Then, severely watch his minutes during the RS. Play Grant a lot. Gear Al up for the playoffs next year and beyond

Plenty of teams pay way more than 30 mill for players who WERE superstars Harden Wall Westbrook Paul And that's off the top of my head thats why i stated that we should wait before we label anyone a superstar. Whats the rush to label players. Let them accomplish everything that needs to be accomplish to establish their legacy as Super Star. Before we had super stars. Now we have disposable stars that we want to call superstars. Let time be the judge.

As I said, "by design." If JB were the #1 go to guy he'd have much stronger numbers and he'd learn to take advantage of that role by being a better handler & distributor. That's all he's missing to replace JT and it could be developed given time or reps.
I don't see why you have a problem with my opinion. In deed, Tatum is our team's superstar but in the NBA he isn't quite there yet ... that's my point so stop saying I'm miss-stating facts or denying you your opinion. I don't like your repetitive BS as if you're trying to brainwash this forum with your opinions. Stating your feelings once or a couple of times is fine but inundating these pages over & over is intolerable and at some point I will start deleting those posts ... that is all.
Give me one name of an NBA player who made 1st team All-NBA who's not a superstar. I dare you! Bones Mckinney Obviously you don't work with sql or you would have defined more conditions to your query
