Well, called this game about two weeks ago...can't stand that Giannis is the new propped up bully of the east...the guy has no game whatsoever...would be a good tight end on the Patriots...but suxxx at basketball... Supposedly it is better that we lost this due to seeding but I hate losing to this newly anointed prick...even though he seems like a nice guy... I'll take him on my team all day long, one of the top players in the NBA, not bad for someone who sucx at basketball. He is a one trick pony, drives the lane like a bull, and if you breath on him they call a foul on you...just a propped up star, no basketball skills...

He's good now, but one knee blowout and he's done being a superstar because no "old man game" at all to fall back on. KG was still a good player, smart player, excellent shooter after his injury.

How many fouls did Brown have to absorb on guarding Giannis?...I bet that is why he got into foul trouble so early...did not watch much of the game...

He gives 100% every time he steps on the court, I think he's also the best defensive player in the game! He can be a one trick pony on my team, any day!!

I've noticed that White does not see the floor well at all! He missed Pritchard wide open at least 5 times last night, and it's not the first time! Also Gwill is reverting back to old form, which ain't good! Theis should be the first big off the bench when RWill comes back! The is by the way has been playing great basketball! The Bucks are a big physical team, and Brown was taking it to the hole against them all night! When he plays like that he's almost unstoppable!

He looks better too

That would be great reason to trust his teammates who are also having decent offensive games. Just because he was the high scorer doesn't mean he "had to" play hero-iso ball at the end. I don't buy that with the way others were playing. But believe that if you want. I said earlier, if we execute we will win. Execute, not play hero-iso ball. Maybe you should back off. Well Petey, I very much respect your opinion...but I feel that Smart is way the heck better that most here give him credit for...the guy brings it every day while most are asleep at the wheel...his effort is 10x everyone else, flat out...
Also, you do realize there is a reason we did not play Tatum and Horford, right?...Nevertheless, Smart played to win...you can not turn him off...
And I totally respect your opinion too. Smart is a very good player and he does get credit for that. But he has a tendency to try to do much more than he is capable, especially on the offensive end. Smart's problem is mostly on the offensive end when he tries to do too much when he should just take what's there. He had a great shooting night last night but so did others. There's no need to force the ball on a drive, realize it's not there, try to stop on a dime, drag your foot, and travel for a turnover. There's no need to take a bad shot when there are better shots out there on one of our last possessions. Same for JB. That six dribbles between the legs to only throw up and backboard shot is what I mean when I say we need to execute. Executing is not iso hero-ball, GWill trying to go left in crunch time, White passing up an open three to dribble and miss a difficult mid-range shot. In my opinion, we truly EXECUTED one play and human error blew that one. We executed the inbounds to Theis only for him to miss the bunny at the rim. I can accept great execution but we just miss the shot. I'll take that every day of the week. It's just the stupid plays that disappoint me........NO MATTER WHO IS OR ISN'T ON THE COURT.

Why? He's not eligible for the playoffs since he was waived so late in the regular season ...

Smart goes into these games where starters are missing with the mentality that he is going to take over in their absence. That has to stop. He needs to go in and improve his playmaking skills plus make others better. Thats it. ..on a side note, Hauser is for reals with his shooting. A specialist.

I thought the same thing, but I read that if you were waived before April 9th and picked up by another team, you were playoff eligible! If he's not, you're right, no sense picking him up!

To me, these are areas were Ime has to improve. These subtle coaching decisions impact the outcome of a game. You see offense for defense substitutions all the time. Ime has to take advantage of the benefits of defense for offense substitutions.
That is my main issue with Smart. He goes into the game like he's gotta score 30 and he really doesn't. This is really an opportunity to facilitate the offense and run it well. But he wants to jack up shots. And yesterday, he did a very good job hitting shots.
When PP is in with JT and JB, he gets off cause he can get his shot. Imagine if 6'8" Hauser was in there. That would create an obvious advantage-Celtics.

With our open roster spot, there is one player I'd take a flyer on, that being Willie Cauley-Stein.
That slot will likely not get any minutes either way so let's fill it with a 7 footer as additional depth at the center position.
To me, it just makes too much sense to add veteran depth at the big, just in case.

Per HoopsRumors:
Players Waived After Tuesday (3/1) Won’t Be Playoff-Eligible by Luke Adams
In order to retain his postseason eligibility for a new NBA team, a player must be waived on or before March 1. That means that any player who remains on an NBA roster after today won’t be eligible to suit up in the playoffs for a new team, though there’s at least one key exception to that general rule.
A player who is currently on a 10-day contract – or who signs one in March – will retain his playoff eligibility going forward. For instance, once Willie Cauley-Stein‘s 10-day deal with the Sixers expires this weekend, he’d still be able to re-sign with Philadelphia or join a new team and be eligible to play in the postseason, since he’s not being placed on waivers after March 1.
Here’s the list of players currently on 10-day contracts who will retain their playoff eligibility when their current deals expire:
Drew Eubanks, Trail Blazers (runs through 3/3) Malik Fitts, Celtics (3/4) Kelan Martin, Celtics (3/4) Willie Cauley-Stein, Sixers (3/5) Tim Frazier, Cavaliers (3/7) Haywood Highsmith, Heat (3/7) D.J. Wilson, Raptors (3/9)
Note: Alize Johnson is reportedly signing a 10-day contract with the Pelicans, but it’s not yet official. Like the players above, he’ll still be playoff-eligible.
It’s also worth clarifying that a player doesn’t have to sign with a new team by March 1 to be playoff-eligible — he simply has to be placed on waivers by 11:59 pm ET on Tuesday. As long as a player who fits that bill signs with a new team by the final day of the regular season (April 10), he can play in the postseason.
The buyout market in 2022 hasn’t featured as many notable names as it has in some recent years, but we’ve still seen a handful of potential rotation players become available since the trade deadline. Goran Dragic, Tristan Thompson, Tomas Satoransky, Jevon Carter, DeAndre’ Bembry, and D.J. Augustin are among the veterans who have been waived since February 10 and who have since found new teams.
All of those players will be playoff-eligible for their new clubs, but anyone on a standard contract who is waived after Tuesday won’t be. We know that the Lakers will officially release DeAndre Jordan today — we’ll keep an eye out for any other veterans who might hit waivers in the next 15 hours or so.

Did Milwaukee secure the 2nd seed last night, when they beat the Pistons? I'm pretty sure they did, if so that would be great for us!
