Just twice, that’s right I said twice, since the start of February has the Boston Celtics been on the wrong end of the result.
So as the Cs host the 18-48 Detroit Pistons tonight at the T.D. Garden, it’s tough to envision a scenario where the team is anything but victorious.
That’s why they play the games, though, right?
Boston is rolling right now due to a starting lineup that defends at an elite level top to bottom, but this particular four-game win-streak is seeing Jayson Tatum rise to a new level as a scorer.
In the Celtics’ four wins (Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets) Tatum has played like a bona fide MVP candidate.
