1) Chris Duarte (wing) - NBA Ready and rated in top 25. He shouldn't fall to 2nd round but he will be 24 yo on draft night so he could slip. If he does, he'd be a steal for the C's at #45 or even higher if they moved up to get him.
2) JT Thor (forward) - Just what the J-Team needs! A high ceiling PF that can switch & defend as well as score the ball in the paint and some from the perimeter. Oh, and he makes 75% of his shots from the line.
3) Day'Ron Sharpe (big) - With the current number of bigs, another young C is not a priority but if there, this guy could be your interior muscle to parlay behind RWill or Moses Brown (if either are still here going forward) when Horford is just a memory

These next three picks are high ceiling guys that could still be there for the Celtics ...
4) Boston is a light-framed wing who had a poor freshman season at Kentucky but his ceiling is way up there based on size and creativity, making this a pick that could turn into an all-star. He's everything that Langford was supposed to be.
5) A PG that thinks on his feet and has vet savvy ... sounds like Rondo! A creative playmaker that can make tough passes while minimizing turnovers. He's a knockdown shooter with deep range from behind the arc. Needs to improve defense, athleticism and quickness to be elite.
Needs a lot of work on defense. He doesn’t move well laterally against quicker players
and lacks the strength to contain bigger ones.
6) A tempo setting PG that can pass and provide lockdown defense. Decent 3-pt shooter but can be better. A speedster in transition. Needs to cut back on risky passes that lead to TO's. Right hand dominant as a ball handler & finisher - needs to work on his left handle.
MINUSES Shooting: has a low release point, shoots a low percentage on spot-up 3s, and has a
small sample of success off the dribble.
Below-the-rim finisher who needs to improve his craftiness inside.
Attempts far too many high-risk passes; if he ends that habit, he’ll dramatically cut down on turnovers.
Right-hand dominant as a ball handler and finisher.
Honorable Mention: Charles Bassey (big), David Johnson (PG out of Louisville which would make JT happy) and Neemias Queta (big already worked out by C's) ...
Potentially undrafted players to be signed after the draft: Lots of PGs: Delano Banton (6'9"), Marcus Garrett (Kansas) & David Duke (Providence) both 6'5." There's the Belgium Unicorn Vrenz Bleijenbergh (6'10" forward), Amiir Simms (6'9" PF Clemson) and quite a few SGs as well.

Good picks, especially top 3. Duarte shouldnt slip (agreeing with you) but you never know and that would be great. Attracted to Thors wingspan and Sharpes agility. However, Sharpe is a third for me. Would be very happy w Duarte or Thor.

I just cant fall in love with any of these guys no matter how hard I try. At the very least, wait until we get one before you even attempt to fall in love w them. We were all in love with Herro thinking we would get him , then he went the pick before us.

I wasnt the biggest Herro fan, but there was a time right before the draft when this board kind of set their heart on him. To be honest, prior to the draft, I didnt hate the pick , but personally I reallllly wanted PJW.

But I primarily was reacting to the scenery as I drove, and life around here. The book and the flick that was released in 1955? Just a coincidence i was born that year i'm sure. Yep no one is actually in Eden and we call it Edom in Va. Long list of residents who like me spell poorly.. Once a thriving little town with 2 country stores and a grist mill built in 1793 and the church my family built Now just a small isloated village with meth and oxies being consumed in large quanities with Trump signs littering the yards still. Biden is resigning and Trump will be back next month. I'm so excited.. It's actually that ugly in Kansas where you live? That's sad..

I do a combined ranking of at least three websites from their top 100, this year I was late to the gate because we don't have a pick that really matters.
anyhow, I used Draftnet, CBS sports and NBA scouting live top 100 ranked prospects.
below is the players that when combined and averaged fell in the 40-60 range
40 PF Greg Brown 6-9 Texas 41 PF J. Robinson- Earl 6-9 Villanova 42 C Neemias Queta 7-0 Utah St 44 C Day'Ron Sharpe 6-10 N. Carolina 45 C Flip Petrusev 6-11 Serbia 46 SF Hubert Jones 6-7 Alabama 46 SG Aaron Henry 6-6 Michigan St 48 PG Jason Preston 6-4 Ohio 47 SF Joe Wieskamp 6-7 Iowa 49 PG Rokas Jokubaitis 6-4 Lithuania 50 PF Kessler Edwards 6-8 Pepperdine 51 PG Daishen Nix 6-4 US 52 SF isaiah Livers 6-7 Michigan 53 PG David Johnson 6-5 Louisville 54 SG Juhann Bergarin 6-5 Guadeloupe 55 PG David Duke 6-6 Providence 56 SG Austin Reaves 6-6 Oklahoma 57 PF RaiQuan Gray 6-8 Florida St 58 Sf Sam Hauser 6-8 Virginia 59 SF Aaron Wiggins 6-5 Maryland 60 PF Matthew Hurt 6-9 Duke

It would be cool for me if we got David Duke. His PC stats, and really his whole PC tenure, kind of doesnt tell the whole story because they played him at PG and he never played there before. Of course, was better at the position by the end of his college tenure then the beginning. Defensive minded, a lot like former PC PG Kris Dunn. Doesnt have Dunn's ability to get to his spot, but he's larger than Dunn. His offense was inconsistent, but he really caught fire some games. Uses his size well on both sides of the floor. IVe watched him closely for 3 years. One thing to keep in mind is that he played against a lot of top schools. Guarded guys like Marcus Howard, Saddiq Bey, Miles Powell.....Kept PC in a lot of games against much larger schools. Could do worse, I suppose. Shot still needs work but improved a lot in his time at PC so heading in the right direction.

I dont expect Dayron Sharpe to be there, but he'd be a great get. His shot sucks, but he's a center and a tenacious rebounder. Also, good passer from the 5. And he's working on his shot. Needs to work on his finishes, moves, and shot primarily. But he's great on the glass and a good passer out of the 5 and is working on his shot.

He would probably think the C's drafted the son of the notorious David Duke, giving him another rant to go off on...
