Off the top of your head what would you say is the average size of championship point guard? Curry 6'3 Kyrie 6'3 Billups 6'3 Parker 6'2 Rondo 6'1 Kaldwell-pope 6'5 Chalmers -6'2 Fisher- 6'1 Kidd- 6'5 Harper- 6'6 Smith- 6'3 Paxson- 6'2 Johnson- 6'9 Thomas- 6'1 D.J.- 6'4 Nobody in the last 35+ or so years under 6'1 in the starting lineup of a champion. Kemba Walker 6'0 Kyle Lowry 6'0" I knew I missed somebody thanks KY!

Now is Kyle the first under 6'1 starting point guard to ever win an NBA championship?
I went back 40 years and I couldn't find somebody other than him.

OK. Walker is for sale ya know.. Has been for sometime. Ainge must have realized his mistake. Just a little too late Danny Ainge was reportedly offering Kemba Walker in hope of preparing trade package for Jrue Holiday DANNY AINGE, CELTICS TRIED TO TRADE KEMBA WALKER FOR TOP-5 PICK IN 2020 NBA DRAFT NBA Rumors: Celtics Offered Kemba Walker In Trade Talks With ‘Everybody’ Looks to me like Ainge has second thoughts.. I knew all along he's not a fit here. Granted we have other problems but his 30 + were paying him has our hands tied.. Trae will get 50 if Walker is guarding him the next game, Stevens won't even attempt that i'm sure.. che, so what Walker is available in a trade. Everybody not named Jayson and Jaylen is trade-able. You got me wrong buddy. You've never heard me say Kemba isn't tradeable so posting that Ainge tried to trade him doesn't mean anything. If Ainge is doing his job, he should be looking to trade him to upgrade the team. I'd trade him today for the right upgrades and wish him all the best. I'd trade the two J's for the right deal. Our hands aren't tied che. There is a deal out there but DA has to find it and be willing to possibly "lose" a trade to move on from Walker and put the team in a better place, short and long term. But there isn't a deal out there if DA has to "win it". I don't care much what Trae gets as long as the Celtics win. Love ya Petey, but there aint no trade out there for Kemba...period...unless the Celtics pay half his salary...

We just have to hope that Kemba gets it together...but since he can hardly dribble or pass, and barely shoot, he's got a lot of work to do...

'78 - Henderson 6'3 '77 - Hollins 6'3 '76 - Jo Jo White 6'3 '75 - Beard 6'3 '74 - White 6'3 '73 - Frazier 6'4 '72 - Jerry West 6'2 '71 - Oscar Robertson 6'5
Hmmmmmm? Not a coincidence it seems.
That makes Kyle Lowry the first starting point guard for a champion under 6'1 in 50 years, at least.

Kemba has to be glad that there are no fans at the games...
Unfortunately it is basically the same thing as Hayward...paying a guy to rehab...except that he cant facilitate plays, play defense, or rebound...

Aaron is going to end up killing himself trying to gain minutes on a team that isn't playing him the way they should.
Best of Nesmith vs Nuggets:

Lowry is still a bigger build Tiny Archibald in 1981. Listed as 6’1 but was clearly closer to 5’11

Horford is a much more expensive mistake than Tristan Thompson.

Vooch would be an awesome addition but I worry about his rebounding and defense and if he somehow gets shut down offensively or doesn't produce offensively then he becomes useless out there. You can't take rebounding away from someone when it's their strength or defense. That is why I prefer Drummond because no matter what he's going to rebound and block shots. That's a guarantee. Making shots is not a guarantee no matter how good you are.
