And if we win, all will be forgotten True! I think we need this Game 7 to see if Jayson Tatum is really above Paul Pierce and on the same level as Bird. This is how great players are made.

PP was just losing to cutino mobley's RI rams at Tatum's age.

cole, an obvious missed call with 4.4 seconds has more of an impact on the outcome of the game than a missed call with 5 minutes remaining. The missed call wasn't why the Celtics lost the game but, again, those have to be called. Why call a foul with 4.4 seconds left of a Game 6 when the ratings of a Game 7 will be off the charts! The only reason you make that call is because of how obvious it was. Besides, calling an obvious foul doesn't give the Celtics the win (see game 3). With 4.4 seconds left, the Raptors would have had lots of time, much less than they had in Game 3.

That's because you're thinking it's 3 missed calls. Maybe it was 3 calls made on purpose. I refuse to believe that same

There is a difference between the NBA wanting a Game 7 (hoping for) and the refs being crooked on purpose. Where is the integrity of the sport? It was a missed call, but an important one. Like Petey said, they "swallow" the whistle most of the time......and I actually agree they should...rebounds, and fouls on long jump shots that have no chance of going in. But this was a layup that went out of the guys hand, and could have been a game winner. I've seen several calls late in the game on bad 3 point shots. Those I don't agree with, either. But with 4.4 seconds left, they have to make that call. I hope we don't have any of the three of them today

Then there were two more bogus calls after this

Bring back the scab refs! They sucked but at least they sucked randomly, not with an agenda

One thing that is going unnoticed is that Nick Nurse is coaching circles around Brad Stevens.
Nurse is wiping the floor with Stevens as it relates to "in game" adjustments. One clear indicator is the play in the 3rd quarter.
What is Nurse doing at halftime that gives the Raptors a distinct advantage in the 3rd quarter that Stevens is unable to counter?
The Celtics have no answer for adjustments made by Nurse, with the most glaring being a box-and-one zone defending Kemba.
We simply have no answer for that and I honestly cannot understand why.
Did BS challenge a foul call in game 6 and, is so, what play did he challenge?

If kemba was allowed freedom of movement he would kill the box and 1. But the 1 is grabbing him and he's not strong enough to withstand that.

If you can get past the 1 and collapse the box, it would leave open 3 pt shooters. There are counters. Have Theis cut to the middle of the box, the hole in the zone, feed him the ball. The box collapses in around him as they rush to prevent the easy 2, pass it out to the open shooter.

This is a good reminder of how special AI was. He would get past the 1, and then beat all 4 men in the box. And he didnt even have anyone to pass to. Imagine that. Having a team quintuple team you, leaving literally everyone else on your team open....And you still cant pass them the ball. AI would rather take his chances guarded by 5 people then give Snow an open shot. And its not because he's selfish - its because he's a better bet to score against 5 defenders than Snow is wide open.

We should be able to beat box + 1, its not designed for teams like us. Its designed for teams when you only have to worry about one scorer.

Did BS challenge a foul call in game 6 and, is so, what play did he challenge? I unfortunately agree. Nurse has been the better coach so far. Adjustments made at halftime are critical. And while our D has been good, we have seen multiple defenses from TOR, and have been slow to react. Brad can still pull a rabbit out here if we win later........
