Portland advances to Playoffs after comeback vs Memphis as McCollum (29pts) came up big in final 2 minutes hitting clutch threes ... Lillard led with 31, Nurkic had 22pts/21rbds, Anthony 21pts while their opponent (Grizzlies) almost forced another inside playoff game as Ja Morant led the Griz with 32. Valanciunas had 22 with Clarke and Brooks each 20.
Portland advances to meet the Lakers ... rest up Portland.

And Memphis drops into the lottery meaning 14th pick in the worst case.

What exactly is our relation with that pick?

What exactly is our relation with that pick?
Meaning "how did we get it?"
Boston traded the No. 1 pick in 2017 for the No. 3 pick (Tatum) and what wound up being the Kings pick. Tatum was the real prize, and the Kings pick was a potentially tantalizing bonus. As for the Grizzlies pick, it’s a product of the 2015 trade that sent Jeff Green to Memphis. So, the fact it ever became relevant probably should be considered a victory for the Celtics.
However, it’s hard to not wonder whether Ainge missed a golden opportunity to capitalize on the assets when their values peaked. Yes, hindsight is 20/20, but it’s probably fair to say there have been times when trading either pick would have brought back something (or someone) better than Langford and whomever eventually is chosen with the Grizzlies pick. Sure, the Celtics still could move the pick in a trade this season (frontcourt help, anyone?) but there’s no denying the asset carries less value today than it did a year ago.

or "what's the current scenario?"
More relevant to the Boston Celtics, the Grizzlies will finish the season in the lottery. Memphis will have the 14th-best draft odds -- just a 2.4 percent chance to jump into the top four. Boston owns Memphis’ 1-6 protected first-round pick, which becomes unprotected next season if it somehow does not convey. The Grizzlies have a 97.6-percent chance of offloading the selection to Boston this year.

Celts have 3 picks in the 1st round.
There's just no way the Celts can keep them all.
