I was referring to my feeling that we should play basketball. It doesn't matter who's president for me on that. Well, hopefully in a few weeks they might resume the NBA season, with no fans, televised...would give the public something to do and be stoked about...sort of like baseball resuming after 911...
But our bench will still sukkk!
Just not as much because maybe JB and Kemba will be back....which would push Smart back to the bench...

There's a bigger chance of Trump winning re-election than the NBA resuming in a few weeks.

Well, I think trumps chances are better than 5050 so...
However a good part of trump's voters were spurred to the polls by hatred of Hilary. People dont hate Joe. Who knows?

This pandemic could either make or break his chances for re-election. I think, right now, if he does not call a national emergency, and leaves it up to the states, that will hurt his chances, because states are closing down on their own. It shows he is indecisive and cannot handle a crisis. I hope it does anyway......haha.

I think, right now, if he does not call a national emergency, and leaves it up to the states, that will hurt his chances, because states are closing down on their own. It shows he is indecisive and cannot handle a crisis. I hope it does anyway......haha I couldn’t agree with Cole more that I believe Trump has a 50-50 chance for re-election and won previously as it was a travesty the previous election came down to him and Hillary and she was the less disliked of the two. I don’t like the Guy. In fact, I like Biden( a big reason too I’m also and old guy) much more. I copy and paste comments I made in another post about Biden: "Although I am a Conservative, (I mean belief in capitalism with the free economic opportunity of businesses to be successful and profit and for the individual’s ability to gain wealth through intelligence and hard work as opposite to the deep state government controlled policy ala socialism). I consider myself an emotional person and become saddened with Biden’s family personal tragedies: He lost his first wife and a baby daughter in a car accident in 1972 and in 2015, his son Beau Biden died of brain cancer so Health care is “personal” to him and is a top priority. As a former chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Biden also speaks passionately about asserting and defending America’s role as a leader on the global stage.(Like Trump) Also, he served for decades in the Senate and believes in the value of partisanship and insists on extending overtures to Republicans even in a moment when many in his own party don’t see negotiating partners on the other side. This is opposed to Pelosi and Schumer. I am an old timer and feel he is too old and I find him frequently many times rambling incoherently. Maybe it’s me ! I do find it difficult not to like him. I just don’t think he’s up to handling the hard work tense moments and decisions our next President will surely need.”
However, Biden could win and people would put up with his sometimes incoherency and the Republicans, many not liking it, would put up with Trump’s tweets. But, living in California I need not vote as it is a one party state and has been since Reagan…Democratic. And many of the city officials vote themselves some of the highest salaries in the country but look at the immigrant/homeless messes with tents strewn and needles on the ground that can harm children in SF and LA. I reiterate , I am not a Trump lover, many times an embarrassment to me being our President, but when it got down to him and Hillary, the choice was easy. Hillary got 85% of the vote here so she is President of California.

I heard he can opt out. He would be nice, but I disagree on the "horse" thing. Brady was better at the time, and Jimmy G kept getting hurt.

You guys just need to rebuild a couple of years. Draft some young talent. Drop some vets.

Cam Newton is looking for a new home.
He had the Panthers' permission to test the waters.
A lot of talent... and baggage too!

Tom Brady, the new Ray Allen! No way. Ray was only here a couple of years, and was the third wheel. This is more like Bobby Orr.......or Roger Clemens.

I still think the Pats will be good. Defense will be the key this year, with just enough offense to get by. They like Stidham, and McDaniels is one of the best. Second after the Chiefs in the AFC. In Bill we trust!

I had read in some SF papers that a straight up trade for Garoppolo could have been feasible ? Brady is from this area and his favorite team growing up was the 49ers and Montana was his idol. Although 49ers got to the Super Bowl and relatively dominated for the 3 1/2 Qtrs to the 7 1/2 Min mark of the 4th, the 49ers could not get a 1st down on the next 3 possessions. Just 1 might have not given KC time to score the winning TD. Jimmy G just could not get a critical pass in those 3 possessions. And 49ers getting to the SB was mostly their running game and defense, not Jimmy G's passing.
I love Brady and feel he was better than even Montana but I would not do the trade. Like Garoppolo he is not the most mobile. QBs who really hurt 49ers were the mobile ones, Wilson of Seahawks & Mahomes. Jimmy G was not very mobile...could not run out of many situations and I don’t think Brady is that much more mobile especially with his age. But, Garoppolo is young and has the potential to improve his passing. I still remember on a 3rd down with about 3 min left he had a receiver in the clear 10 yards from the goal line and over tossed him...would have been the dagger score. 49ers could have milked the clock a bit and then score with little time left.

I never thought of JimmyG as a starting NFL QB... until this past season, and he proved to be more than adequate. He was WAY better than I imagined and he has room to grow.
I would have done the TB for JimmyG trade in a heartbeat.
At this point, the Pats are really hurting for a decent starting QB....PERIOD... to go with their superior defense and special teams.
Otherwise, they are a .500 level club at best.
How long will BB put up with a mediocre club before leaving town himself?
Not long!!!
