Looking back at it, its hard to fathom why Siakam slipped so far, with the Celtics looking bad passing on him twice (once for Yabu, then again for Zizic). The dude was nasty in college, with 2+ blocks a game, 11+ boards a game, and scoring 20+, despite being the focal point of opposing defenses. I guess it was because they considered him undersized for a PF and he's not a stretch 4. Also, I imagine that teams dinged him for the conference he played in. Still, looking quite foolish now for passing on him twice for two guys who are looking like longshots to stick in the league. Danny was stuck with drafting players that would agree to get stashed overseas. They were going after two max free agents. Got Horford but whiffed on KD. and instead of swapping them for future picks, he felt he was being swindled, so he picked less than full value picks just to avoid losing a trade and look what that got him ...

While they may still release him, he's still only 23 years old.....
And, to be fair, only LaVert, Siakam and Murray have done anything in the league. They were picked after him in the first round.
Still not good, but apparently he's a good citizen, and is still young. Him or Semi, who would you keep?

He's redundant with Jaylen, but at least can play a little 3 and D. The better question is who would you rather take Semi or Yabu if you could only pick one and were in a 2 on 2 fight. Both those guys could have been UFC stars had they gone that route.

Summer league is over. What are you guys reviews on the draftees? I think Fall should get a 2 way. Edwards will get a few minutes. Williams has a good feel for the game. He’s a keeper. I like the progress of RWill. Give green a 2 way. Strut can shoot and will be a good spot up shooter. He stays within himself.

Who gets more minutes, frenchie or rw3? The euro for now. He has a lot more skills. RW3 needs to improve. He’s indecisive on pick and rolls. He’s doesn’t get up the shooters and leave them wide open. He shouldn’t worry about a guard blowing past him because he is mobile.

Hope nobody wanted a Russian mail order bride. I think it was Melania's sister for sale.
