Forget it, if there's a coach in line, Silas is the guy. Not that I want to but it seems odd that he is attending our games and stuff Plus we're not going back to a white coach any time soon.

Jeff Goodman says Brown isn't worth a SuperMax ... he's just a borderline AllStar. He wants to trade JB for Beal who's 29yo and best friends with Tatum. Higher BB IQ than JB and may want to be here with JT whereas with Brown, he may want out based on body language despite saying all the right things. Aside: JB is like 2-20 on 3's and it's been forgotten that he ripped his hand open again in Game #1 of this series and has had moments of bleeding on the court so he does have an injury affecting his play as far as shooting and maybe even going to the rim. Hey, that's my trade......LOL. Brown and PP for Beal and #6. Then move Smart to IND for Turner. Just curious about how how you make that trade work, The salary's are like $15M off. both this year or after the new NBA year? I think you need at least $40M going out to bring Beal here. IF so Brown and ROb would work, especially if you have the Smart/Turner deal in the bag.

so you'd have
Beal, Brogdon, White and Pritchard left at guard
Tatum, Hauser and #8 pick? at wing
Grant?, Gallo and Muscala at PF
Turner, Al and Kornet at C?
did I miss anyone?
You'd also be at $178M in salary BEFORE re-signing Grant in that scenario and have two more roster spots to fill. putting the team over the new super tax line

Yeah, funny how that works these days, eh?... Was going to mention it, but did not want to be the first to go there...

What if he mixed many here in Northern Virginia are? Steph Curry for instance had a white grandfather from Harrisonburg Va my hometown . I know for a fact because he was a half brother to my grandmother. My grandaughter who is mixed now just refers to them as just light skinned blacks I ask her if that was somewhat offensive. She said no not with her generation.. The old folks when i was young refered to them as '''high yellow'' which always puzzzled me...

Admin: you literally tried to increase my interest in this guy by talking about how he can move laterally (which I like) but then ask me why I dont like drop bigs. Drop bigs dont move laterally. They "drop" back to the basket and play defense on their heels. They dont play perimeter D. But in his defense, I will say this: keep in mind his craftedNBA player type is the style of D his plays. So he retreats to the basket, and yes is more used covering bigs down low. But most of the elite bigs arent strictly down low players, so even those matchups may give him trouble. But that aside, just because he plays that style of D, doesnt mean he needs to. RWill can only play drop big. I know because Ive seen it. Its possible that Sengun can do more defensively, and just hasnt been asked to. If he has good lateral movement (and Ill take your word that he does), then he could have the ability to do more defensively then just retreat to the rim. So it could be a source of untapped potential.
You misunderstood ... I said he's a drop big "unlike" guys that you like that can move laterally ... in other words he was not a stretch defender but purely a drop/paint guy to hold power bigs from getting to their spot in the paint.
Sorry if I didn't word it well.
Admin Comment: He's now 20 and grown to 6'11" if NBA profile is accurate. Doubt his wingspan has gone from 7' to much more that 7'2" with that growth. But he's a work in progress and could develop into a stretch big and improve his quickness/athleticism. Worth a look.
TY for clarifying. Like I said, CraftedNBA shows the style of defense he plays. So the "drop big" defensive style they assign is because thats how Hou has used him. But they were a mess, especially defensively. On that team, only Jabari Parker had solid defensive metrics. So something is off with their defensive schemes. So while I think that drop big players are generally limited - he could grow into more. Having good length + good lateral mobility, means he has the tools to grow into a good (or even decent) defensive player. And hes worth considering, because his offense is for real. Hes a plus offensive player , even at 20 years old. I do think he might be expensive though, I think theyre going to try to build around him, and Im not sure theyd trade him for anything other than a haul.
