Is this a case of "be careful what you wish for" (Hawks advancing over Heat) ... we dread playing the Heat again but despite our season record vs the Hawks, could they be jelling under a new coach just in time for the playoffs? Might they be a tougher opponent than the Heat?
Heat rallied from -24 to -5 or so but Hawks are working it again and up about 10 with 1-2 mins to go in Q3.

Lowry with 5 quick pts to force a time out ... more importantly, 97-91 ATL but Heat have their rally caps on again and Quinn Snyder will try to rally the Hawks to tighten up their defense again for the remaining 7:40 in this game if they want to advance to play the Celtics on Saturday. Otherwise they have another Play-In game Friday ... Ugh! Let the Heat play on Friday!

Meanwhile, still looking for any answer to this:
On another note - can someone tell me why The Sox sign players they know are hurt, and then pretend they are surprised when the player gets hurt?
In the meantime, our shortstop is hurt, the one playing shortshop has more errors than hits, and a VERY durable guy, who wanted to be here, and would have taken a home town discount, is currently in San Diego, hitting .325 with 3 homeruns? Isn't right handed hitting our biggest problem?? Makes me crazy.

Sox want to emulate the Rays but obviously we stole the wrong Sats Geek from them as they are still killing it with cheap pickups while are guy is saving $ on comeback projects looking for lightning to strike in a good way but it's going against him.
Red Sox have been this years Mavs the last few years with their ineptness when it comes to keeping their star players.
I did hear some stat offered up comparing Kike Hernandez to Bogaerts even tho Bogey has 3000 ABs vs 1000 for Kike. They have essentially the same stats within 5 pts in every category.

Looks like the Hawks have sealed it ... 115-103 with 32 ticks to go.
Hope I'm wrong about "be careful what you wish for" ...

Heat have been a huge disappointment this season ... injuries, Lowry losing a few steps and losing P.J. Tucker has really hurt them.
Mavs are the only team I can think of that have been a bigger disaster and they did it to themselves!

Rebounding and a faster pace were the keys to beating the Heat in this game ... credit Snyder for picking up the pace.

I like Kike, but he's no Xander on D. Or on O for that matter. Casas? Arroyo? We spent money on our new left fielder, but can't keep our best player? They're nuts, and Bloom must go

Yeah, well keep in mind that I think the Padres should have went for pitching instead of another shortstop...we already had Machado, Kim, Cronenworth, and some guy called Tatis...Xander was a mistake as far as I am concerned...and most down here agree...

All that smack talk by Butler...I'm starting to think it was all smoke to obfuscate the fact that they were about to tank for fear of the Celtics. Remember, they did upset Milwaukee that year as well.

Yeah, they aren't the same team they were a year ago ... that's obvious.

Didn't they trade any of their excess guys ... and why did Bogey go there unless promised to be the everyday SS?
