the ISO ball problem: only way to get away from ISO ball is to run the offense through the PG's and/ or using AL and Rob as high post passing big men. Boston has the players to do both IMO. Frees Tatum and Brown to move and slice to the hoop OR spot up and shoot. Smart, White and Brogdon can all fill the PG /ballhandler roles all game, whileHorford and Rob are both good high post passers with high BB IQ's. leaves one player on the floor all the time as a spot up shooter, Brogdon, Grant, Pritchard or maybe Hauser. Trouble is NBA "stars" demand the ball in their hands and the offense run though them today, even if that is NOT the Best use of their skills. Tatum and Brown should be finishers...NOT playmakers, moving off the ball (ala Curry) will make both their lives much easier both want to be Jordan/Kobe and not Curry however. But I have a dream of seeing the team run this half-court offense and non more ISO ball. Tatum and Brown moving without the ball, while the PG or high post big moves the ball around, one spot up shooter on the floor at all times as an outlet along with Tatum and Brown who are both good outside shots. am I crazy ! you are with me that there is once again an ISO problem? I am not enjoying the games as before. The ISO issue had not happened since Brad. ISO can be solved easily, move the rock. No matter if you are PG, FW, Center. Whatever. Move it around.

Also what's up with the abuse on tweeter stuff? Like come on. Some tweets coming from the same poster are also repetitive stats. It becomes a chore to read the rest.

The thing is that takes more energy. I think they seem to believe iso helps them pace themselves. In big games, you see more movement away from the ball. On the games we don't try it's stand around and take 3s

Gotta say I considered blocking him just to get through the threads faster, but I am not going to...Sorry Fierce, you are pretty repetitive... it really breaks the sequence and makes everything hard to read. Lol, I guess you already tried it...

That's funny because you're always the one who engages me first. No, you are just so obtuse you can't even realize how aggressive you are...

Good stuff here. Agreed. We're at our best when we leave the facilitating to Smart, White, Brog. Love seeing them hit Tatum on back door cuts for easy 2's. Run a couple called plays to get Tatum some easy 2's and watch the 3's start falling later in the game. A lot to be said for the psychology and confidence of seeing the ball go through the hoop.

On the games we don't try it's stand around and take 3s Cole is on such a hot streak this year with the insights. We call that "growing roots" when players dont move enough without the ball. Its not a compliment. Great teams are active teams. On both sides of the ball. With or without the ball in their individual hands.

Theres a reason why Pat Riley has had so much success. He really stresses the cardio, because when you have it, you dont have to worry about standing around to conserve energy. Cole starting to sound a little like Riley (mean that as a compliment)

The dude may not have been the best shooter in history for long, but his movement off-ball was second to none, including Steph.
