I think Bamba is a realistic target.
But if the Celts are not going to use a 2-big lineup, like last season, it makes more sense adding a guy like PJ Washington or Vando.
Basically the Celts will be needing a 4 instead of a 5 if Al starts and Rob continues to come off the bench.
If Joe goes back to the 2-big lineup then Bamba makes sense.

Bamba is a realistic target for the C's, but at what cost? Seems they were to hasty in moving on from Bol

I would happily take another 3 and D guy. From my observations, our recent D struggles are more about letting opposition get to their spots, and open J's from wherever. OKC dropped 150 on us, without their best player, playing most of the game centerless.
I honestly dont see how running back to the 2 big lineup helps.

Vonleh(plush $$$) is traded to the Spurs and expected to be waived/ Per Woj
Called that one ... a day earlier than expected though it is a trade so it makes sense to get it done today:
Celtics Trading Vonleh To Spurs; Spurs Waiving Gieng, Vonleh by Rory Maher
The Celtics are trading big man Noah Vonleh and cash considerations to the Spurs, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic (Twitter link).
The Spurs are waiving center Gorgui Dieng to create a roster spot for Vonleh, who will also be waived, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski (Twitter link).
The trade is a salary dump move for Boston, as Vonleh’s contract is non-guaranteed and would have been fully guaranteed on Saturday. The Celtics will free up a roster spot and save $7.15MM toward the luxury tax, tweets ESPN’s Bobby Marks.
San Antonio has plenty of cap room available — $27.1MM, per Marks — to waive Dieng’s guaranteed salary without worrying about the financial implications. He was on a veteran’s minimum deal and rarely saw the court this season, appearing in just 13 games with averages of 4.1 PPG, 3.2 RPG and 2.0 APG in 11.6 MPG.
Like Gieng, the 27-year-old Vonleh was a deep-bench reserve for Boston. In 23 games, he averaged just 7.4 minutes per contest. The ninth overall pick of the 2014 draft, Vonleh has played for eight different teams in as many NBA seasons. He played in China in 2021/22.

The Celtics signed Vonleh to a one-year, $2.5 million contract in September. His contract would have become fully guaranteed if he was on the roster past Jan. 7, so Boston will shave $7.15 million off its luxury tax ... we are at the triple tax level or at least a double if the salary is included in that total.

I'm currently stuck in a Bill Murray-like "Ground Hogs Day" loop watching Kevin McCarthy embarrass himself and the GOP over and over again to my delight!

Humiliation will be when Jordan starts calling fbi witnesses. Enjoy this while you can. Personally I don't see why this is humiliating but that's the talking point today for sure.

Vonleh turned out to be a foul prone bonehead! So dissappointed! Bring on Luka Samanic!

It's one thing to argue politics. It's another to drag it into basketball arguments where it makes no sense. It's the perfect analogy. One claims to have "accurate numbers" but he has no link or no concrete evidence to backup the claim. That's like saying I'm a billionaire but I refuse to show my taxes. Can you link me to Biden's taxes?

But there will be no FBI ... The house under the GOP is intent on having hearings to defund that rights trampling institution.

As POTUS he's surely under audit and will release them once the audit is done ... LOL!

Is Trump the only U.S. president in history to not divulge his taxes?
