Jayson Tatum a softie? He was 13mo ago For the sake argument, I won't disagree with you. But should the Celts have traded Tatum 13 months ago?

We aint winning with him then he will become one of those that needs/wants to get traded and we end up with the bare minimum.

Over the years we've all been right, and we've all been wrong, hundreds of times! I've wanted Brown traded, now I've got him as a top 10 player in the league! Same on who to draft, who to trade for, right on some occasions, wrong on others! We all have our opinions and we all may change our opinions! Right now I think Tatum is the best player in the league, next year I may want to trade him, doubtful, but possible!

The problem is some here are still acting like kids in high school. This game thread was fine until Cabutan decided to be Debbie Downer of a great Celtics win. It's so stupid. I mean he has repeatedly advocated the trading of Tatum and he's accusing me of the one who wants to break up the Jays. Such a buzzkill on what was supposed to be a great win for all Celtic fans.

Not me, I've never been wrong............... ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) In all seriousness, we can criticize the players and coaches all we want. The trades, the free agent signings and the draft. That's wide open. What should NOT happen is questioning another posters personal beliefs or knowledge of the game. If we stick with basketball, everything would be fine

You also need to recognize (not YOU, btw, but you in the plural sense) what is important to some people. Like faith. Should NEVER be questioned. If Republicans want to bash Dems, then they have to be able to take criticism, and vice versa. I have not found this to be the case here, which is why I want to stick to basketball.

Then there's this:
Shams Charania: Sources: Charlotte’s Gordon Hayward will be sidelined indefinitely due to a fracture in his left shoulder. Hornets expect Hayward to miss time and he is undergoing further evaluations. – via Twitter ShamsCharania Top Rumors, Injuries, Gordon Hayward, Charlotte Hornets
And this, from Wellesly's favorite mistress:
“He actually has a fractured scapula… that they had him play with last game… that’s why he couldn’t move his arm up in the last game,” she wrote. She later added: “I’m gonna stop here and not get into prior things” before continuing on a subsequent story. “I’m over them not protecting players. Just was talking with a young player’s mom, and she was saying the same thing…” she concluded. – via Bryan Fonseca @ New York Post

No, I'm not referring to politics. What I mean by GOP on this board is the "alternative universe" of the NBA here. This is the only forum that some members are saying Jaylen Brown is better than Jayson Tatum. Or Sam Hauser is a bigger difference maker than Malcolm Brogdon. When the facts are turned upside down, it's like the Trump GOP.

When one is off, the other can carry the team. Overall, it is a consensus (maybe slight majority) that Jayson is now the better player. But that doesn't mean he's the best player every night. And Hauser is not a bigger difference maker than Brogdan. Who knows why people post the crap they do. Perhaps it's Brogdan's injury history...? Who knows? And, who cares?

New member? He's been with us for years! 2016 to be exact. Never posted much till this year.. Must have been stuck in the g league. I'm up in Pennsyltucky now, but not too far from that swamp of a river...LOL. I joined here the first time almost as soon as the place was started when the old Boston.com boards were being closed down. But I ended up spending my time at Sam's board instead, as the constant arguments here reminded me too much of the hillbillys in my family arguing about something that happened years ago.... The guys running the other board starting acting like Hitler and wanting to control what was posted ( IE no real disagreement with the team?) and I can't stand shit like that so I started posting here, to the bane of those here I would think! so that's that. Just another old F%*# who loves the off-season as much as season some tmes.

For the sake argument, I won't disagree with you. But should the Celts have traded Tatum 13 months ago? nope. More they should have gotten rid of one of the J's either as you previously suggested
