Drawing even with Orlando. Love Smart calling out the Jays for their lack of passing. We've all seen this the past couple of years. Time to put them on the spot.Smart may be a less than perfect messenger.. but the message is spot on and very timely.
My guess is that Smart is speaking not only for himself but for a number of team members who feel exactly the same way he does... but lack the stones or status to say it out loud.

Im not buying it. You want the Jays to pass to you? Be better. Especially Jaylen who really doesnt ball-hog. Jaylen is taking 19 shots from the field / game and hitting em at over a 50% clip. Marcus is shooting .300 from the field. Marcus wants to keep taking unwarranted shots at our best player - and I mean - theres the exit. This team is fast becoming the Jaylens.

Here is how I would rank our players thus far in the season: 1. By a mile = Jaylen 2. Horford (which makes our start even more depressing because we're actually getting more from Al than we expected) 3. RWill 4. Tatum 5. Schroder 6. I dont even know - Grant? 7. Smarts probably here
Prob not a good idea to be causing drama with #1.

A couple things. Would we be a worse team if Nesmith, Langford and Pritchard, got some of Smart, Schorder and Richardson's Minutes?? I think not!! So far Horford has easily been our 2nd best player, and that's not a good thing! I don't know what's wrong with Tatum, but something's not right, he's even missing free throws! I do know this, if he doesn't get it going, it's gonna be a long season!

Of course and'' were back'' beat the 2nd worst team in the east who's key players arn't old enough to shave.. Smart needs to put up or shut up Brown our best player won't take but so much BS from him.

I do know this, if he doesn't get it going, it's gonna be a long season! no coach needs to play them. The only thing that makes sence is he's building up Smart Schroder or Richardson to be traded.. Hope Gwill makes the see ya later list also. At least one of the three guards will be gone before the allstar break ill bet the house on that..

guess again or just blame Rondo like you did earlier.. Here's the word on the streets.. When Boston traveled yesterday to Orlando, I’m told, they had a players-only meeting. And Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, they did talk about the collapse against the Bulls and Marcus Smart’s comments after the game about those two not passing the ball. I’m told it was emotional at times, but in the end, perhaps, not a terribly productive meeting, maybe not even beneficial. He continued: “These are issues with this team and this group that have been going on for a while. They changed the president in Boston. They changed the head coach. These issues remain. Now at 2-5 and playing the Magic tonight… this is a situation that [head coach Ime Udoka] has to address and help this team work through. It haunted [Brad Stevens’] regime, especially near the end, last season.” Don’t you love hearing the words “haunt” and “not terribly productive” as it relates to a basketball team that has played ~12 percent of its season? They knew what they had (or should have) when they drafted him.
Management simply ruined the Rondo experiment... they failed to intervene promptly to shape him up or to ship him out.
Management failed to learn their lesson.
They may be making the same mistake with Smart.
Dysfunctional Management?
Fair question...

Are we facing and Antoine Walker vs Paul Pierce scenario? Can these two co-exist?
I've thought about this and many Celtics things all day, and here is my very, very unfortunate answer:
Smart has to go
They cannot and will not break up the J's right now, at least until the end of the year. But we can't go on like this. Smart, and either Romeo or Nesmith for...........? Well, that's the big question. We'll never get back the defense or heart Smart gives us, but........his offense is well below average, and he has regressed. We should have kept Fournier at all costs, and it's Brad's fault all the way. I'm open to trade suggestions. Right now, today, I don't think we need a PG, unless we can get White or Murray from SAS. That I would do. Here, we need some offense and some shooting...........thoughts?
